What are the titles of the 18th Duchess of Alba? Supposed to have 47, the most in the world. She has so many that some people say that Queen Elizabeth II would have to curtsey to her.

Hello I am in an argument with my room mate. I tell him I am going to JC Penneys and he says no, "it is JC Penney, not JC Penneys.". I let it go. I then say I am going to Sonics, He says no the store name is Sonic so you are going to Sonic. My written grammar/english suck because I am lazy, but saying "I am going to Sonic" or "I want to go to Sonic tomorrow" just doesn't sound right, and he is clearly wrong. But he needs proof. Help me!

Consider the following. God created everything. God created Man, so that he might have free will. This is what makes Man unique. His other creations would have no free will, therefore.

Angels are presumably the creation of God. Why would one or more rebel, unless he wished them to?

I've been trying to learn about Wicca and have been given a book for teenagers (I'm 33) by my brothers girl friend who practices, she said this book puts it in simple terms. Are there any other books you recommend to read or even websites to visit? My interests are purely personal and spiritual.

If scientists could read your brain - and then transfer it to a computer or to another body... would you consider doing it?

If you believe in God, do you think God would be angry? What would happen to your soul?

English is not my first language. In two years of YA, I've asked some questions about the meaning of words and expressons in English, and I never had all native speakers agree about them. In one occasion, I couldn't get one single satisfaying answer, and I still don't know the answer to that question, many months later.

Your thoughts, please?

Thank you! :)

Have a wonderful day! :)

My boyfriends mother is mad because I wont allow my son to believe in Santa Claus! Growing up in my family we didint do that sort of thing because my family takes our faith very seriously. She didnt want a fake man to overshadow our saviour. I repect her for that. My boyfriend doesnt have a problem with it. She wants him to take pictures with Santa and I said no. Am I wrong for standing by for what I believe in. I have asked a question similar to this before. He is 7 months old and he shouldnt be lied to now or when he grows up. He can have an imagination when it comes to othere "holidays" but I dont mess with Easter and Christmas! Do you agree she should back off. She raised her sons I think she should finally allow me to raise mine the way I want.

I am pretty new to the whole networking thing. Today, I went to lunch in place of my boss with a really cute girl. He's talked to her a few other times at networking events but this was supposed to be their first one-on-one. She's single, lives by me, is attractive, and very nice. I'm not saying I'm in love but I'd like to see her again. She works part-time by me at a resturant but I think going there would be stalking. She isn't a client of our's so I can't depend on that. I don't want it to be weird though if I see her at something again if she doesn't like me. I did say I was interested in going to other networking events for young professionals (since we are both in our mid-twenties) and she is a sales rep. What do you think? I don't want to seem creepy but I'd like to see her again and see how it goes. Any advice?

A rabbi,a priest and a minister have their houses of worship side by side,
so they decide to carpool.

The first day, the other two are shocked to see the pastor lay hands on the
hood and pray silently.

"What are you doing?" the priest asks.

The pastor looks up. "I'm just dedicating the car to the Lord's service."

"Good idea! Be right back!" the priest exclaims, running to his church. He
emerges with a bulb on a short stick, shaking water out of it onto the car.

The rabbi stares. "What are you doing?" he says.

"I'm consecrating it with holy water," the priest replies.

"Great idea!" the rabbi says, and runs into his synagogue's toolshed.

He emerges with a hacksaw and takes off an inch of the tailpipe.

Note: Do not bring up connections other than those mentioned. Most of them have similiar flaws but they aren't the point here. Sorry for spelling mistakes. I'm not doing a spell chack.

I often here it said that there are parallels between Christianity and other deities, the main one being Jesus and Dionysus. They make these main comparisons:
Dionysus was crucified
Dionysus was resurrected
Dionysus was born of a virgin mortal woman
Dionysus was called 'liberator'.
Dionysus turned water into wine.

I used to think these were very convincing and believed them for a time, when in actuality, after I studied a little more I found that these parallels were extraordinarily more complicated than this, suffice to say, they are vague superficial lies.

I'm going to present these in the manner Atheists usually do, with no historical or textual evidence delving further into the generalizations.

Let's look:

(remember, these are presented as a 'so called' scholar would present them.)

Where is he?

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

Your Bible (New World Translation [NWT]) says:
"In [the] beginning the Word was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god."

Your very own publication "The Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures" state "god was the word."

Your reasoning: "If the word 'god' follows the word 'the', it implies 'the god' (ho theos) or Jehovah (articular); but if the word 'the' follows the word 'god', it implies someone or something is "godlike" or possesses the same qualities as God."

Then how would your reasoning fit John 20:28?
"Answered Thomas and he said to him The Lord of me and the God of me." -- John 20:28 The Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures.

Going by your reasoning, was Thomas suggesting that Jesus is Jehovah because the singular predicate noun "God" follows the indefinite article "the"?
