If scientists could read your brain - and then transfer it to a computer or to another body... would you consider doing it?

If you believe in God, do you think God would be angry? What would happen to your soul?

Your mind (soul) and your brain are not the same thing. Your mind is consciousness while your brain is only a higher center of the physical body through which aspects of your mind connects to the body. By simple analogy you could look at the brain more as the antenna than anything else. Other aspects of the body also interact directly with the mind, for instance emotional energy interacts through the solar plexus. Your entire body is created in the image of your mind, or soul, and is projected with the strengths and weaknesses you need in order to work on in order to raise up your mind. Your mind cannot be downloaded into a computer. A computer is the ultimate in linear processing and at best could only capture facts and figures from the most masculine polarities of the mind, which on their own are dead without the surrounding fields and cycles of the feminine polarities.

If I was old and the new body was young and smokin' hot, why wouldn't I? Of course you gotta wonder...where did that mind go first? Hmmmm. Perhaps the new body is a lemon?

God is not an issue in this for me. If he allowed it to become possible, He would have to be good with it, wouldn't He? He's in the driver seat, so He is the one calling the shots, right? No worries there - He would not make a temptation then beat us for accepting it as one of His gifts....or would He? He's pretty sneaky, you can never tell!

Let us first differentiate the physical brain from the MIND realm, which is neither physical nor perceivable by the brain.

When the body dies, ones Soul with MIND attached departs the physical plane of existence and shifts into the Astral plane, the next inner plane of existence. All memory of ones life just departed is maintained within ones MIND realm.... but this memory will not be available as part of ones brain-level energy in ones next life.

Ones MIND does use aspects of ones last life in the formation of ones personality for ones new life. Ones MIND also uses aspects of ones parents MINDs in the structuring of ones new personality.

God is concerned with ones Soul only. Ones MIND is part of the Universal MIND and this is under the direction of the lord of Karma, and the Law of Karma.

I would have them give me a body that does not hurt all the time.
I can't see why God would be angry if I didn't want to hurt anymore and had taken an opportunity to make that happen!
Actually it would be an answer to my prayers TO God, so it would be fine!
My soul goes with ME wherever I go, my body is NOT me - my MIND is!
Peace!

I would not do it because getting used to another body would be so difficult, and I would soon miss the advantages I had in the previous body. Besides, I am proud of what my body has done and would not feel happy being in another body that hasn't done what my body has done. God would not be angry, as your soul would transfer with your consciousness. Remember, your sould is not tied to your body, when you die it will leave you.

Like if I was going to die, and could transfer my thoughts to another body so I could live for about 200 years ... sure.

And I don't believe in god, so I don't see any reprecussions besides maybe getting a little lonely.

Sure, especially if something were wrong with my body.

I don't believe in the cosmic zombie, so no, he wouldn't be angry.

Souls do not exist. Furthermore, if this kind of process was possible, what would stop them from copy/pasting your mind into 40,000 different people?

I'll have my brain transfered to a body of a woman so I wouldn't have to go through the trouble of transforming a man's body into a woman's body.

I'd consider it, especially if your body is wearing out.
