no myth at all - it has been recently documented.
well... not the blonde's intelligence, but the prejudice towards this issue.

LONDON, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Encounters with blonde women such as U.S. film icon Marilyn Monroe make men's mental performance decline, a study has found.
University of Paris X-Nanterre professor Thierry Meyer said the study he co-authored found that when men are around blonde women, their mental performance declines due to prevailing social stereotypes, The Sunday Times of London reported.
The social psychology professor said study subjects were given general knowledge tests after being exposed to a variety of women, and seemed unconsciously to begin to "think blonde."
"This proves that people confronted with stereotypes generally behave in line with them," Meyer said. "In this case blondes have the potential to make people act in a dumber way, because they mimic the unconscious stereotype of the dumb blonde."
Although the finding appeared to reinforce the influence of stereotypes on behaviors and abilities, "EastEnders" and "Doctor Who" star Michelle Collins had a different take.
"I don't think it's to do with hair at all; it's all about the breasts," the blonde actress told the newspaper.

Nope. Stupid is universal. It can't be relegated to a hair color.
Also, I've met some pretty smart blondes, both natural and otherwise.

Actually yes I rather do think something is up with blondes. And no, not jealous. I used to be a professional model and I love my natural auburn hair. It is more unique and others started calling me "the celtic goddess." I also love getting respect from men and not being automatically lowered to blow-up doll status.

I don't think its true.
However the only people I have ever met that I would consider intelligent have not been blond.
But I have met stupid people with all hair colors.

I have a blonde friend who is studying to be a neurosurgeon (if she ever stops adding majors and minors and just graduates already).
I have a blonde ex who was a complete moron.
But my brunette ex was dumber.

i am a natural blonde and i always receive over 90% in my math tests and i am the top of my class.
