What is the greater meaning (or secret) of life here on earth? Do books such as the Bible or the Kabbalah hold any greater truths about human existence? Can anyone provide a definite answer? Thank you!

I am on a take multiple choice questions (homework) and I am struggling with reading the passage.

The line is:
"I am not at all sure that the majority of the human race have not been ugly"

I am not sure how to translate it, as to whether it will be a positive or negetive statement.

It is not a manner of vocabulary. I know what the words mean...
Its a matter of syntax.

I've seen some very good comments and discussion from Muslims today, as well as some rather stupid ones from both the Christian faith and the nutters who think they are worshipping Islam, yet are destroying their own faith.
Radicalism is an evil we can all do without,and seeing pictures of sword waving lunatics seeking blood for something so stupidly innocent, yet offensive to them, makes me feel that if any people from their country are over here and even so much utter the words "Benefits" or "Religion" then we should give them 200 lashes and stick them back on a plane to a primitive country where that poop belongs.
Religion is a curse in the wrong hands, which is perhaps why I don't believe in any God.
Would you agree with my opinions, or argue for your religion?
This is open to all faiths, though admittedly I am not religious, but I would be interested to hear your views.

Does the following verse say we only belong to the house of Jesus if we hold fast to the end? So if we do not hold fast wouldn't that mean we lost our salvation?

Unity Chuches?
Ive been visiting the last couple of Sundays and I like how they
refer to EVERYBODY as a Perfect Child of God.
Meditation is also included in the service and it's great!
If you have heard of this church, would love to hear your thoughts about it.

My Mom wants to take a family trip to LA with me and my brother. Im 26 and my brother is 33. Im in grad school and he makes $200K a year..
Now hes suggesting we all sleep in the same standard size room to save money. Does anyone think this is wrong and inappropiate?
I told my Mom that a 33 yr old man should be sleeping in his own hotel room not in the same room on a cot with his mom and sister.
Im refusing to go if he doesnt get his own room.
Also im paying for myself, so is my Mom- shes barely making it.
Shouldnt he be treating us since hes the man of the amily making 200K?

Does anyone feel what hes doing is wrong and inappropiate?

I have had e-mail contact with some born again christians and they all tell me that accepting Jesus as your saviour is not enough to be a christian and that I never was (I'm an ex-christian but that's not relevent here).
Does this attitude annoy you?
