Hopefully the scanner with an automatic document feed that I plan on buying. I save just about all of my statements and bills, they are largely unorganized and in piles and boxes, and I have papers going back about 20 years.
This has a 50 page document feed and lets you scan directly to PDF files. I use my current scanner for saving tax returns and other important documents, but manually scanning each page is too difficult for the boxes of papers I have. Hopefully this will let me be more organized and reduce my clutter.

I know this sounds really lame... but the best thing I have bought this year has been my lap top.
And as a very committed techno-geek, I have to admit I love it.
It is quite strange how technological inventions can really make a difference - maybe not change your life, but it does definitely change what you do in your day.

A can opener. Essential when you're away in your camper and it's cold and you want something hot. What a god send. How I thanked the inventor!

A new piece of cookware. It's a Circulon Chefs Pan and I love it. If I could only have one pan, this would be it. Not so cheap but oh so worth it.
