It is my belief that there must have been confusion or he would not have cried out "My God My God, why hast thou forsaken Me?"
Matthew 27:45-46

There was not a time that Jesus was confused, the pain that he went through was your pain that he took to the cross. Read In Isaiah 53:4-5(KJV). There was a time we was going through as a human being in the flesh just like any of us, yet no sin was found in him, he was God wrapped in fleshly form, experiencing natural settings therefore destroying sin in the flesh.

There are numerous parts where Jesus is confused--after all Jesus was a boy and just like all boys needed to learn lessons like don't touch the fire or don't be disrespectful to your mother.
Many points are specifically mentioned in the bible. Jesus wandered the desert for 40 days being tempted by the devil. He did not give in to the devil, but he was tempted. The devil was a temptation even to Jesus and it was difficult for Jesus to remain firm. (Mat 4, Luke 4 and I believe the beginning of Mark)
Many times he went away from his disciples to pray. (Mat 14, Mark 6, John 6) After the loaves and fish, Jesus goes up to the mountain to pray. The crowd is chanting for him to be made a king. In Mat 26, in Gethsemane, and said to His disciples, "Sit here while I go over there and pray." The last night in the Garden of Olives he leaves them again to pray. He needed alone time with God to assure he was following the proper actions, not his own agenda.
There is also the part of Jesus becoming a man--the years that are left out of the bible. At twelve, he is lost for several days. Many years--often referred to as awkward years in a young man's life--where Jesus is educated and taught his purpose in life are missing.
When it comes down to it, Jesus was a man like all men. He was born a child and had all the same questions of a child. He was tempted frequently by the Devil and man, until the end screaming why have you forsaken me. He experienced all the same emotions as anyone.

I'm sure he was. We don't know much about Jesus's teenage years. The Gospels only tells of his birth up until he is 12. Then, is starts again when he is 30 until his crucifixion at 33. I'm sure that knowing he was the son of God may have bestowed a lot of confusion on him.

No, Jesus was not confused even when things seemed unexplainable. He had faith in His Father. Jesus was perfect and said that He always did those things that pleased God (John 8:29). God also says that He is not the author of confusion (1 Corin. 14:33) but of peace. If Jesus ever doubted God, He would have sinned and could not be our Savior. We know He was tempted to doubt God (Heb. 4:15) but He did not fall into the sin by becoming confused. When tempted He agonized in prayer with God (we see this in the Garden of Gethsemane). Even when on the cross in tremendous pain both physical and mental and realizing that God had forsaken Him because of our sins, He still trusted Himself in the hands of His Father (Luke 23:46). Because He was tempted, He can help us when we are tempted to distrust Gods perfect will (Heb.14:15).
". . . "Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." In these words Christ is speaking to every human being. Whether they know it or not, all are weary and heavy-laden. All are weighed down with burdens that only Christ can remove. The heaviest burden that we bear is the burden of sin. If we were left to bear this burden, it would crush us. But the Sinless One has taken our place. "The Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all." Isa. 53:6. He has borne the burden of our guilt. He will take the load from our weary shoulders. He will give us rest. The burden of care and sorrow also He will bear. He invites us to cast all our care upon Him; for He carries us upon His heart.
The Elder Brother of our race is by the eternal throne. He looks upon every soul who is turning his face toward Him as the Saviour. He knows by experience what are the weaknesses of humanity, what are our wants, and where lies the strength of our temptations; for He was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. He is watching over you, trembling child of God. Are you tempted? He will deliver. Are you weak? He will strengthen. Are you ignorant? He will enlighten. Are you wounded? He will heal. The Lord "telleth the number of the stars;" and yet "He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds." Ps. 147:4, 3. "Come unto Me," is His invitation. Whatever your anxieties and trials, spread out your case before the Lord. Your spirit will be braced for endurance. The way will be opened for you to disentangle yourself from embarrassment and difficulty. The weaker and more helpless you know yourself to be, the stronger will you become in His strength. The heavier your burdens, the more blessed the rest in casting them upon the Burden Bearer. The rest that Christ offers depends upon conditions, but these conditions are plainly specified. They are those with which all can comply. He tells us just how His rest is to be found. . . "

Never. He knew what it meant to be "in the flesh"
* EDIT *Please forgive me- I did take the question out of context- meaning pre- Cross. I know that Jesus probably felt the "most human" while being beaten with a cat o' nine tails and then the crucifixtion.
