Do guys value this quality in a girl do you think? Do they check the girl at the time of marriage to see if she's a virgin (someone told me they did?)

i figure if hell is fire and brimstone, then heaven must be underwater and and all of our souls must turn into fish wearing fur coats when we get there, otherwise, how would we survive.

In some of the books of the Bible it speaks of Jesus curing some people of some disease(s). He tells that person to go tell what God has done for you. In other instances, Jesus tells the person not to tell anyone. Example, Jesus raises to life a young girl of either 12 or 13 yrs. of age saying she was only sleeping. When she is brought back to life, He tells the parents to give her something to eat and to keep quiet about what he has just done for them. Why is this in the Bible, where He says one thing to help spread the word, then another thing, such as raising a child to life again, not to spread the word? Wouldn't Jesus want everyone to know everything about what God has done for them?

Will Science once again prove that the Bible had it right all along?

The claim by evolutionists that there are different races and that some are superior to others has been used now for several generations. The key teaching is that human beings evolved along different hereditary lines.

Is Genetics about to destroy this old Evolutionary Myth?

I have read Gospels containing stories of Jesus as a child. In these Gospels he made birds out of clay and even caused other children to die. Has anyone else read these Gospels and why were they kept out of the Bible?

If speaking in tongues is a heavenly language....then why, when the 12 disciples got the gift of tongues others were able to understand them??

Acts 2:6-8

When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking in his own language. Utterly amazed, they asked: "Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans? Then how is it that each of us hears them in his own native language?

How is it that each disciple spoke A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE that others could speak to them in?? It's not some Heavenly language...it's the gift to be able to speak to others in their language for the purpose of spreading God's word.

Do you understand speaking in tongues is not something to be taken lightly by faking it, babbling and rolling on the floor for no one to translate....that's not the Holy Spirit...that's great acting.

Details:

Mike is a five year old kid that believes in Santa.
His mom thinks that believing in Santa is absurd and annoying, so she decides to tell her boy that Santa is just a fairy tale. Mike don't believe what mommy says and refuses to give up his belief in Santa.

Question:

Is Mike's belief in Santa his choice or is it because of his feelings and conscience influenced by external and internal factors causing him to believe?

(A) Mike one day sat on his bed and decided(chose) to believe in Santa and therefore believing in Santa.

(B) Mike had been exposed to the idea of Santa existing and deluded by disguised people dressing as Santa thus stimulating Mike's conscience of automatically believing in Santa. Mike did not choose to believe in Santa but rather started to believe as a matter of process.

NOTE: Please answer (A) or (B) and explain why you chose that answer as opposed to the other one.

It is estimated that as much as 80% of the world's population lives in poverty or very close to it. We all know the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. But what if the poor people said enough is enough and started looting stores, burining down buildings, blowing up cars and protesting the governments to give them an opportunity to get out of poverty. Will the world economy come to a standstill, how do you think the governments of the world would react to such a mass uprising

This was not the only prophesy made by the final messenger of God, Muhammad (peace be upon him), rather there were many more such as the time when 10,000 of the troops of the pagan army of Quraish were advancing upon his city to utterly destroy him and his followers (in 'The Battle of the Trench' ) and he and about 3000 of his followers were preparing as best they could to stave off this attack by digging a trench. While prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was digging with them he made a number of prophesies including the Muslim's capture of Al-Yemen, Al-Sham (Jerusalem, Iraq, etc.), Morrocco, Persia, and the Eastern countries. All of this was said by him while many of the Muslims were expecting to be totally destroyed at any minute by the advancing army which vastly outnumbered them and was much better armed.

We had Turkey, Ham, Duck, Prime Rib, Chicken, Rabbit, Quail, Scallops, Salmon, Sweet Potatoes, 2 kinds of stuffing (Oyster stuffing and regular Turkey stuffing), Peas, Corn, Broccoli with or without cheese sauce, A beautiful multi lettuce salad. Homemade Bread, Corn Bread, French Bread, Blueberry Muffins, Pumkin Pie, Apple Pie, Blueberry Pie, And those who indulged had Egg Nog that I sneaked some liquor into. We consumed about one fourth of what was served and sent mass amounts home to our guests. Exactly like Thanksgiving should be. I love to be an American!

They think our soldiers deserve death and that 9/11 was good and we all deserve it! They go with "hate" signs outside funerals (soldiers, police, dead gay people etc). Signs that are so nasty it's as if Satan himself wrote them. What is even more twisted is they pretend to know God. All this hate in God and Jesus name (when Jesus is his exact opposite!!) Phelps is some closet case who hates everyone and made it his "religion" a preacher of a so called church. They support Iran killing our American soldiers. He should take his old miserable self there then. Ugh they thrive off publicity. To cloak hatred and sociopath behavior in the name of God is so Devil- like. I think if you ask this Phelp's guy (Fred is it?) his real name he would open his mouth and say "my name is LEGION for we are many"!! So my question is how can this guy think the way he does?

I mean surely if god is real and all powerful he can do this again. He did perform this "miracles" in the past so why can't god come down to earth turn dirt/clay into a person and settle this whole argument once and for all?
