Just from the restaurant across the street to the house here. Mom in law is too old to walk further.

We actually started the day with a 5K walk/run - The Turkey Stuffer. Got in our exercise and won a fresh turkey. (So, I'll be roasting another turkey tomorrow.) Then we all come home and prepare for company. It's a great way to start the holiday!

My family did, but I declined, knowing I would walk many halls on night shift. But, it certainly is a good idea to try to walk off at least a few calories.

More like walk and roll. On the floor. Walk away from the table, collapse on the floor and roll over to the TV, then promptly fall asleep.

Kiddo, this bunch at my house can't even waddle after Thanksgiving dinner, let alone walk.

No, we sit back and enjoy each other's company. This has been a fond habit celebrated by my family for quite some years. The "exercise" idea though is very positive. Thanks for the thought, we might just do that after each family gathering. I wish you well.

Yes, we walk while we're out deer hunting. It's a tradition that we go hunting after we eat, until it starts getting dark. Then we come in and eat again!
