Does anyone even think there will be such a thing?

In Daniel it speaks of one who will come in peacably, but I don't know that it means the anti-christ alliance will be peacemakers. I do think that they will insist that they are good and those who oppose them are evil, though. Kinda like Bush claiming that we are good and Isam is evil while we are the ones attacking and occupying nations and forcing the world to bow down to the image of democracy and freedom that we have created.

I don't think forcing the world to worship the beast and his image, causing all great and small to receive the mark, and acting along with the first beast and the dragon to lead the world to the battle of armageddon are the actions of a peacemaker.

There has already been such a thing in Rome. Constantine the Great is the prototype for the global anti-christ. Check him and his kingdom out sometime then take a good look around.

Adolph Hitler thought his empire would be the millenium empire so he would have qualified if he had not been defeated. Bush thought his war on terror would allow him to rid the world of evildoers and he used scriptures that refer to Jesus and his angels at the time of Jesus return to speak about himself ( Bush ) and the U.S. military who will fight his war on evil.

Your generation will not pass away without seeing the fulfillment of end-time prophecies. Every generation thought that theirs would be the last, but Jesus said that it will be the generation that sees the gospel preached in all nations as a light unto the world. That would be this generation. Look around you, Adam.

Well, I don't think there will be such a thing because I DO NOT, and have never, believed in an "anti-christ".

Peace and love

Everything I have read seems to point in that direction. Yes, I do believe there will be a man not a government. He will parallel Jesus in the things he does. Miracles, dying and raising from the dead in 3 days.

The anti-Christ is here.

And he will declare a state of emergency around November of 2008, in order to stay in control of the U.S. and A. much longer.

Yes. He will flatter, and claim to be God at some point.

I believe that's when Jews will recognize him for the fake that he is, and expose him, because they have a strong foundation of knowledge of God.

There will also be a False Prophet.

Real prophets from God will draw attention to God, not themselves. This will be one way to identifiy fakes.

According to the Bush administration and right wingers, pacifists were quite the "evil" antichrist sort the last few years.

Now parallel that fact to Jesus's teachings and get real about the true anti-christ sorts.
