Have religious Americans any right to criticize Muslims when the difference is just a matter of degree? The healthy relaxed safe beaches of Australia, Brazil and Europe, to name a few, confirm the backwardness of Americans who feel so ashamed of their own bodies.
The sad fact is that most of those who answer here
have never been to a nude beach and don't know what they are talking about.

I think that the Religion and Spirituality category is simply a way for both sides to insult the other. What do you think? Majority of the people on here would never say things to you're face.
For example: "Oh, I think aheists, Muslims etc., are stupid"
But would they ever say it to a Muslim, Christian, Atheist etc., face?

I hear all these reasons why, he is a just God, Gives us a choice etc, sent his son to die for us so we wouldnt have to go there, well, maybe if he loved us as you say he would never have made it. then you will say, only the worthy can be in heaven, God can not live with evil. well, Maybe God shouldnt ask so much of us, he made us this way, dont ya think?

I, personally, believe it is more of a battle between Chaos and Order - not good or evil. After all, the "Giants", who represent the raw elements themselves (Chaos) are buffered by the gods (Order). In Ragnarok, the "Giants" and the gods are against eachother - Chaos and Order. Loki is a god of Chaos, and Surt reminds me of uncontroled fire (more Chaos) Besides, I cannot view my ancestors in Helheim (whom are supposed to follow Hel whom follows her father, Loki) as "evil".

I saw a father simply drop off his pre-school kid in the middle of the street and tell him to go on in by himself. Relunctantly the kid look back and make several attempt to walk back to the BMW, I patiently waited behind the stopped vehicle and after about 1 minute, the man opens the door and walk the kid in beyond the gate and hurry back to his vehicle. Understanding that maybe the first few days of a new school, I Calmly pull up to the man and suggested "you should walk in with him". I repeated the same statement when the man exclaimed "WHAT!". Then to my surprise, he said "Mind your own business" as I was pulling away. On one hand, I am glad I said something but not quite sure how to react with that comment. Should I have mind my own business and drive away and said nothing?

The Bible does NOT claim that it is a science book. What it does tell us is; God's plan of redemption, how He has interacted with humanity and Christian living. Nothing more.

A basic rule of interpreting any text, is to do so in light of what the text claims of itself.

When Christ began His ministry He preached first "repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand." Matt. 4:17, this is supported by Mark 1:15. Not one single solitary mention of the dynamics of creation, biology, chemistry, mathematics, or any other modern science.

Friends, "The Bible tells us how to go to heaven, not how the heavens go." Galileo. "The universe has been wrought for us by a supremely good and orderly Creator," Copernicus. "The Spirit of God who spoke through [the Biblical writers] did not choose to teach about the heavens to men, as it was of no use for salvation," Augustine.

I enjoy Clive Cussler's adventure novels, but I wouldn't grab one if I wanted a recipe for apple pie, I'd get a cookbook.

I don't think so.
He wanted to liberate his people from slavery and occupation by saying that he was the son of God but things went VERY wrong when Jewish leaders turned against him. He thought he was the Messiah and that cost him his life.
I am sure that if he could escape death he would without a doubt, because he was only human after all.
That is my opinion.

The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it. The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm. When the storms of life come upon us -- and all of us will experience them -- we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief toward God. The storms do not have to overcome us. We can allow God's power to lift us above them. God enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure and disappointment in our lives. We can soar above the storm. Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weigh us down, it is how we handle them. The Bible says, "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles."
