Some may be tempted to say the law, but the law serves to expose sin and make it utterly sinful.

You might want to look to Adam and Eve, and even the devil to find an answer. What was the basis of their sins?

Heh, I'm sorry but I just had to ask this question!
I've seen so many "Einstein believed this, " Einstein believed that," or "Einstein didn't believe" and their all 'supported' by his own quotes.
Hence I had to add another "lookie here at this quote,
Einstein believed what I do!"
( Not that I actually believe this, nor even care if it's true or not. )

-Einstein :
All such notions as causation, succession, atoms, primary elements...are all figments of the imagination and manifestations of the mind.

-Buddha :
Time and again the passion for understanding has led to the illusion that man is able to comprehend the objective world rationally by pure thought without any empirical foundations—in short, by metaphysics.

-Einstein :
By becoming attached to names and forms, not realising that they have no more basis than the activities of the mind itself, error rises…and the way to emancipation is blocked.

-Buddha :
In our thinking...we attribute to this concept of the bodily object a significance, which is to high degree independent of the sense impression which originally gives rise to it. This is what we mean when we attribute to the bodily object "a real existence." ...By means of such concepts and mental relations between them, we are able to orient ourselves in the labyrinth of sense impressions. These notions and relations...appear to us as stronger and more unalterable than the individual sense experience itself, the character of which as anything other than the result of an illusion or hallucination is never completely guaranteed.

-Einstein :
I teach that the multitudinousness of objects have no reality in themselves but are only seen of the mind and, therefore, are of the nature of maya and a dream. ...It is true that in one sense they are seen and discriminated by the senses as individualized objects; but in another sense, because of the absence of any characteristic marks of self-nature, they are not seen but are only imagined. In one sense they are graspable, but in another sense, they are not graspable.

-Buddha :
The belief in an external world independent of the perceiving subject is the basis of all natural science. Since, however, sense perception only gives information of this external world or of "physical reality" indirectly, we can only grasp the latter by speculative means. It follows from this that our notions of physical reality can never be final. We must always be ready to change these notions—that is to say, the axiomatic basis of physics—in order to do justice to perceived facts in the most perfect way logically.

So whom now thinks dear Albert, was a Buddhist? :P

Do you feel the Holidays have just become too commercial?

I feel so pressured to shop shop shop! I was actually feeling guilty because I didnt go shopping today! It's almost as if some one fires a starting gun as soon as the 1st store opens on Black Friday and its all just a big race to January 1st! Like its some kind of professional sporting event! UGHHH

I really dont even feel like putting up our tree this year... its all just become TOO MUCH!

There are Christmas decorations up as early as October these days! Its just CRAZY.

I make cookies for all my extended friends and family. Including long held family recipes that we only make once a year. I also hand write the gretting in my Christmas cards.
When I do decorate for the season I incorporate Chritmas, Hannuka and Kwanza decorations in our house.

What do you do to make the Holiday season special and not commercial?

Could it have been the Angel of Death? Angels are most often unseen to help us through difficult times. But, how do you explain why Hitler would have a guardian angel? Do even the evil have angels watching over them?

I quit two years ago...I didn't really get nicotine cravings (like withdrawal symptoms), but I did feel more productive when I used to smoke. I feel like cigarettes were probably the best motivation for me to study on time and stay up to write papers/study for exams. I've never been too into caffine as it makes me way too jittery to concentrate. I always felt nicotine relaxed me enough so I could focus for a few hours and I had something to look forward to when I needed to take a break. I also really miss my morning cigarette, cause that's when I could center and plan my day.

As far as taste/smell goes, it's been so long that those are no longer tempting to me. I DON'T miss coughing all night long and not being able to get to sleep.

If you still miss smoking sometimes, what do you miss about it most?

I've been married for 2 1/2 years. My husband was a virgin. He just got back from Iraq and we're supposed to be trying to get pregnant. But lately he only wants to talk about bringing other people into the bedroom.

I hate the idea. Its grosses me out and makes me feel as though I'm not good enough. We've never had any problems til now. I don't know what to do.

The Bible is pretty specific on how God feels about sex outside of marriage and I don't want to violate God's Word but at the same time I want my husband happy.

If I can't satisfy him and I don't want other people with us should I tell him to go get it out of his system and I'll be here when he gets back???????????

If he does that then he may leave me or never stop the trysts but if I don't he might leave me or just recent me for the rest of our marriage.

He can't even preform anymore without talking about other people.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was going to shadow a good family friend at his engineering office, as I am very interested in going into that field. I was just wondering what exactly the dress code is.

As to size, it's a fairly small office.

Here is something you CAN NOT miss. Please watch this sermon. "Don't have the time"? The sermon is really a must see; I advise you try to find some. Watching it was one of the best spent hours of my life. The topic concerns you and your salvation. The message is harsh; please listen to it. Please post your "answers" after watching it, and tell me what your response is to the sermon.
