I believe the second coming is near but there are still a lot of things I believe have not yet happened that have to happen before that time.
2 Thessalonians 2: 1Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

For hundreds of years now, different religious groups have been saying, the end is near. Some groups even committed mass suicide because they thought the end was near.
At the millennium, in 2000 there were many that thought the world was going to tip on its axle and millions would die.
There is always somebody creating a myth. Live well, be the best you can be, and love unconditionally. Don't judge, be honest and then, why worry when the end MAY come.

I believe that it doesn't matter and we should live like it is anyway.
Jesus himself knows neither the day nor the hour so it's pointless to try and know ourselves.
Ever since Jesus's departure the people thought his second coming was near, but there's no telling what 'near' means to God, so might as well not let it worry us and live good lives like the Bible says to, which is what we should be doing anyway.

Yes, but the signs have been here for hundreds of years. We never know what hour He cometh. Only God knows that. One of our Ministers always said, that by the readings in the Book of Revelations, he would see the end in his lifetime. Well he died twenty years ago, so he is proved to be wrong. We can't go nuts thinking about it. But we must be Spiritually ready.

Jesus said that he's going to come back when we least expect it, you may be able to think it is near, but when people say that he's coming back on 12/21 2012-uhhuh yeah right! Like I said up above, you won't know when he's coming.

There is no reason to believe that a "second coming" will ever occur, let alone that it is near -- whatever that means.
