Sex isn't "impure", it is your God given path toward love.

When I have that problem I really have to concentrate on what I really want more. I do my best to not put myself in a "compromising" position and really do my best to stay centered on The Lord. It is VERY difficult. I come from a very "loose" lifestyle and find it hard every day to curb my "appetites". i found that if I really think about The Temple and that I am God's Preist, it helps. For me, when I think that way I remember that The Priest would have to purify himself before he is able to go behind the veil to where The Glory of God wold come down on the mercy seat of The Ark Of the Covenant. So if I am not married to the beautiful girl I am with, then I am not prepared nor purified to Unveil her and go in unto the Temple of her body. She, as a Preistess of God, is also under the condition to be purified and ready to come and behold the Glory of my Temple.

It works but I also slip up. But I do not kick myself. I do my best to do what is right and that is all I can do. If I am wrong I say I am wrong and then learn how to be more determined to not do what I should not. As I grow and really more and more on The Holy Spirit, i find it so much easier to not "slip up".

God Bless you and strengthen you by His Holy Spirit Of Truth!

Don't think impure thoughts
Think on something else like the sea and the sand

Hormones are not impure natural feelings
Just keep it clean until you are married

No holding hands or kissing. Start singing a hymn or praise song to yourself as soon as you get those thoughts. (to God be the glory, great things He hath done is a good one). Take every thought captive - I forget where that verse is. Just force the thoughts out of your mind asap.

What I have been told is that you memorize some of your favorite Christian music, contemporary and/or hymns, and when something yucky pops into your mind, a song is easily summoned to over-ride that.

It's not one particular age, kiddo. I am 40 and recently divorced. I promised to keep myself for marriage, too (giggle!) but it's hard! All of us suffer from this problem--Satan loves to tempt us.

Be strong and don't give into the flesh. Stop holding hand and just have friends that are Christian and understand the importance of sex before marriage is a sin.GOD BLESS..

God is transforming us into the image of Christ. We must believe in the atoning blood of Christ. It is not about our righteousness. Christ is our righteousness. All our righteousness is as filty rags.

Here is a portion of my transforming testimony. All my life, I've allowed sin to reign in me. I now choose to give my life up freely (I die), now I am in Christ, I now have spiritual life. This is how I cope with my sin problem and my earthly desires daily. Since I died to myself and this world, I now live in Christ. When I detect sins’ first spark in my mind, I flee to Christ immediately. If I sin for any reason, I flee to Christ immediately and ask forgiveness. Though I live in this world, I constantly wish to be in the spirit with God, where there is no sin. I try constantly to talk with God (in constant prayer without ceasing) about what is happening around me, with my family, friends, coworkers.. I ask Him for His help so that I can cope with living in this sin filled world, with all the seeming pleasures and attractions that Satan has put on sinning, sin being constantly everywhere.
I do like JCdaddy answer, too. Keep yourself in the Word. Jesus said, "17 ¶ Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth."(John 17:17)

God bless you as you seek God with the whole heart!
