Do they think it makes thier movie better, when it offends alot of people, to cuss is one thing, to put Gods name in front of it is another, and no people getting on here making stupid comments is not funny, remember God hears all.

i.e., did it come from a phallus, and if so, whose? or do you think it was created without a phallus, created on the spot, inside Mary, by God?

So I've been genuinly wondering for a long time now; why can't we all respect one another?
What's so hard about being peaceful and civil to one another; regardless of ANY kind of difference?
Yes, I'm Wiccan- I've decided my path (although it forms itself more every day) but I have friends of almost every religion...and of no religion at all..and I learn from each of them. I absolutely adore debating and viewing from other viewpoints.

Doesn't *anyone* else feel this way?

I dont think spanish kids should be able to take spainish in high school. I go to a predominantly hispanic school and in my spainish 3 class there are 3 black kids and me( a white kid) everyone else is spanish and I dont think thats right. Like i know some of the spanish kids dont know spanish and I think they should be able to take the class but theres also spanish kids in that class that are ESOL-which means they have to take a test just to prove they can speak english. I have an A in the class but thats only bc i have to put effort into it

We are having a casual office party for about 20-25 people. I need some Christmas themed inexpensive but super fun party games to play and instructions please. We don't have a lot of space and we have people from age 24-60. The games need to be G or Maybe PG, nothing too racy. Thanks!

I really hope so. I'm worried about the future of this country. Like for instance some Christians would twist history around to say that the majority of our founding fathers were Christian than Deists. Or that this nation was founded on Christianity rather than Secularism. Or try to erode the wall between Church and state even further.

I usually dont quote scripture but after reading a couple of questions, from both sides, that were on the hostile side. I opened a book of bible quotes because I began to feel frustrated. This is the one that God led me to..."God has chosen you & made you his holy people. He loves you.So always do these things:Show mercy to others,be kind, humble, gentle, and patient.Get along with each other and forgive each other. If someone does wrong to you, forgive that person because the Lord forgave you.Do all these things;but most important,LOVE each other.Love is what holds you all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3:12-14

Believers be encouraged, for what a man sows he shall reap.
Unbelievers, allow me to apologize if I have ever offended you. None of us are perfect. We are all just trying to find our way.

The only reason someone could possibly be against it is if they had no idea what it acutally entails. Freedom from religion is not a demand that one never encounter religion, religious believers, or religious ideas at all.

What it does entail is that the government never sponser or encourage a particular religion, because doing so would give the idea that belonging to that religion means that you are favored by the government, and that the people who aren't are inferior in some way.

In other words, freedom from religion does not mean being free from seeing churches, but it does mean being free from churches getting governing financing; it doesn't mean being free from encountering people handing out religious tracts on a street corner, but it does mean being free from government-sponsored religious tracts;

We're not trying to take away religious freedom, but we are trying to make it a fair game for everyone else. Get the idea?

Alma 7:10

And behold, he shall be born of Mary, at Jerusalem which is the land of our forefathers, she being a virgin, a precious and chosen vessel, who shall be overshadowed and conceive by the power of the Holy Ghost, and bring forth a son, yea, even the Son of God.

So...God had sex with mary in that scripture?

(PS, no it's not saying the City OF Jerusalem, it's saying the land of Jerusalem, so don't even bring it up)

Because I don't think many Christians would continue relationships with many "sinners" if they continued to be unresponsive to their evangelizing.

In other words, would you keep a friend who was homosexual, without judging him or her, and without pestering them a million times a day to become a Christian, and let God be the one who would change him or her if God felt it necessary? In my experience, I have not seen that happen. I have seen (many but not all) Christians goad and guilt "sinners" until they convert and if that person is not responsive to their evangelizing, they leave them like dogs on the street.

(I am a Christian by the way and for many years I have seen this pattern, even in myself when I first converted)

No, it has been my experience that some Christians say this when they want to look like they care, but they don't. It is really just a bold faced lie. If I really you meant the "Love the sinner" part, which you don't, I would have a different attitude.

OK here is the story. I like to go shopping but i shop for stuff like entertainment and music, I go alone shopping. I'm prefer to sit near boys in class than girls although i still have nothing against girls, I shave my body hair every 2 weeks, I hang around with more girls than guys at lunch.

Am i gay?

I take care of my 76 year old grandmother. She is recovering from cancer and has Alzheimer's. Though I am her primary caretaker, my uncle has POA. I am now pregnant, working, and live in a cold climate - I'm afraid I can't take care of my grandma properly through the winter. Recently, I took her to the eye doctor and she was given 2 eye drop Rxs, to be taken 3 times a day. I told my uncle I could not be there 3 times every day, so his solution was to just not give her the drops at all!

Recently, someone suggested I contact a council for the aged and they will take over care (take over SS, pensions, sell my Grandma's house and place her in a home). I feel a nursing home could be good for her - at least she will get her meds and be clean (she is taller than me and gets violent when I bathe her).

Is anyone familiar with councils for the aged? Has anyone had a similar ordeal? Any stories/advice will be appreciated.

Thanks

I'm a closeted Transvestite that's nervous about all of this, but yet I believe that we should all be our natural self and not to worry about what other people think of you. I've been so tied up in being so concerned about what people have always thought of me.

Do you think your orientation and the way the world treats you because of you caused it, or are you that way in spite of it?

I am wondering if it is a bad idea to try to brine a large turkey (22 lbs) I usually don't buy a huge turkey like that because I know smaller tastes better, but I am having alot of people over for thanksgiving so I did this year.
I have never brined a turkey before, and everything I read says to use a 12-14 lb turkey, is a big one going to come out ok, or should I just get a smaller turkey?

i hate it when people act like they can read God's mind or whatever and have the ability/right to judge people and it embarrasses me as a Christian when people everywhere, especially here on YA, insult and criticize LGBTs, and then use religion as an excuse to justify it. it makes Christians seem like hypocrites when we're supposed to be loving and accepting and "let he who is without sin throw the first stone"
