Someone posted an ad online saying they needed a catsitter for a week while they're away (and will pay $80).

I emailed them saying I could take care of their cat. They replied, saying that the cat is now at a friend's home because they're in the middle of a "complicated move" and the friend will be away for the week they need the catsitter. Also, they would pay me when they pick up the cat.

So, my question is: does it sound fishy? Does it sound like they're moving AWAY (or just to a diff. apartment) and leaving the cat with me forever, or does it sound reasonable? I'm just worried I'll get stuck with a cat I cant care for permanently.

I'm dead serious about this. I have been for a few months now. I wear them 24/7 instead of using the toilet. The toilets at the mill where I work are disgusting, so it's a definite plus there. But mostly I just wear them because they're a lot more convenient than having to live your life around the toilet. They're also very comfortable. No one at work has noticed, because everyone has ear protection on, and I wear overalls, so you really couldn't tell, and the smell of sawdust is so much more overpowering. I haven't regretted this at all. So, what's wrong with that? Nothing legally, or morally, I don't think.

I live one apartment away from him, which is about 10 feet away in Los Angeles. Every night he (Caucasian male, has slur that may be from his drunkeness or he may be russian....) curses in English about the police and korean people in general.
How do i deal with this guy? I want to make him move somewhere else, but i dont know how. Should i involve the police?

BUT Doesn't John 1:18 which Reads "NO Man has SEEN God at (ANY) time" Really Clarify that the New World's Translation of John 1:1 is (WITHOUT DOUBT) the "Most" Accurate Translation of John 1:1 ???

All "TRUE" Christians Know that Jesus was Seen MANY Times by Human Beings ! So; if Jesus was Seen MANY Times by Humans; then the ONLY "Accurate" Translation of John 1:1 (HAS) to Be "a God" !

Really; all ANYONE has to do to Know What "Should Be" the Correct Rendering of John 1:1 Is (JUST) Read the "Entire" First Chapter of John ??? !!!!!

My church went through "changes" and it affected the youth of my church. The kids have reached to the point where they wished to go somewhere else and others just stop attending church. I want to guide all of them spiritually back to God's presence but i dont know how, cuase the kids are less indterested and less dedicated and i wish not to give up on them...so what would you do? what should /could i do? (besides just praying).

I wonder? When we where hunters and gathers that lived off the land where we really that unhappy? Just think about it, you wake up in the morning and you have breakfast and you go into the fields to tend to your crops and you have thoghts about how much rain the lord will bless you with this season or what to do about your milk cow that may be gettin a little old and if its time to retired her or not. Or maybe, you were a hunter and you went to the woods with your rifle eairly at the crack of dawn to check your traps. Maybe you will scare up a rabbit or take a deer.
What are we doing these days? It is harder and harder to make it these days. Just fifty years ago one man could support his family with one job! Now days both parents work to make ends meet, and nobody seems to have time for family anymore cause their are alternatives like t.v., internet, and video games! Let me ask you this, how often to you see kids out playing these days? Whats the world become?

Every one has talents, characteristics, and abilities.

Gays are humans too.

I dont understand! When I go to shopping I always see prices "40% off" or something like that in big stores. Well, Thanksgiving is approaching, and what kind of Sale should I expect? Is it the biggest sale time in the USA? if yes, where do i need to buy stuff like clothes, jewelry, linens, bed covers, electronics, etc.? a coffee shop. So, I am still experimenting with different coffees and different styles of brewing. I use a regular coffee brewer. Is there any specific coffee you would really recommend or any style of brewing that might help? If you have a coffee to recommend, could you please also include how many tablespoons of coffee grind you put/per ___oz of water. Thank you.

There is a new movie coming out based on a trilogy written by Phillip Pullman a very vocal atheist. He is quoted as saying that he wants to "kill god in the minds of children". Do you agree with him or are you more of a live and let live sort of person.
Please note, I'm not bashing the movie or books. I'll just exercise my right to take or not take my children to it, as you might exercise your right not to take your children to the Chronicals of Narnia or whatever.

With the commandment "thou shalt not kill," it would imply that we should not play God. I have heard He does not like that.

In that sense, is it safe to say, "thou shalt not prolong life?" I mean, in this aspect, we continue to play God.

Does this mean I should let my stomach ulcer eat my entire intestinal lining at a slow and painful pace, in order to ensure I am following what God says or implies? I mean, I have already given up sex with my girlfriend for the Big Guy, so I should probably give up modern medicine too, then... right?
