There are many sides to this answer.
From a Christian theological standpoint, once sin entered into the world at the fall of man in the garden of Eden, all manners of Demonic manifestations began to take hold of the earth and all of creation (bringing about death, illness, and the limitless potentialities of evil). Due to these demonic manifestations, it is a spiritual condition due to the depravity of man starting at the Fall of Man, all manners of sins and vices take hold and control a man's heart, mind, and life. So -- since, in Christian ideology, this is a result of Original Sin and Demonic Influence, God would be placing freewill in the hands of man -- as he also did in the Garden of Eden. Because, with this question, one might ask "How come God didn't just take the tree out and keep them from sinning?"

Because God wanted love -- love that His creation chose to have for Him.

Now, from a humanistic standpoint -- homosexuality can be seen as a genetic tendency or as a result of influences of the individual's background. There is also evidence that homosexuality, to a greater or lesser extent, occurs in not only humans, but animals, which would support the notion that homosexuality is, in part, due to genetic predisposition.

From a standpoint of text analysis, there is great evidence to support the idea that the verses pertaining to homosexuality in the bible are actually mistranslations. I have to say, the words in question are a little iffy and shouldn't be used to fuel hatred for gays.

If people say that God hates gays, it's because they are ignorant. For instance, I smoke cigarettes, and that is damaging to my body. Well, according to the bible, our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit -- and to neglect it or harm it is sinful, being ungrateful for God's gift of life to us. And according to the bible, it is man's invention to place sin on weights and balances and to decide what sin is worse than the next -- and he expressly forbids doing so -- so the idea here is that, in God's eyes, it would be no different for me to smoke a cigarette, to speak slanderously, or to have sex with another guy -- all, of course, assuming that homosexuality is even truly forbidden. To God, according to the bible, sin is sin is sin is sin -- no wore or no better than the next sin, and that we are all equally accountable for our own sins in his eyes.

God has already made us the way He wants us. He made us for the opposite sex. He also made us so He can fellowship with us and us with Him but some of us chose other things to get into and other people to get into. Either way: The wages of sin is still death and the gift of God is still eternal life. He gave us choices and expects us to make the right choice, as with everything in life and gay people just chose to be gay. God still loves them but it crushes His heart that they would chose to live against His will.

Yes. Be no longer unequally yoked with unbelievers. That additionally manner not to compromise ideals. God referred to as His individuals to be seperate from the sector in order that we will be able to be a witness to others. How are we able to do this if we wish to be similar to the sector? This may be parallel to Israel, how God placed them in the course of different international locations to be an illustration, however they desired a king like everybody else and mentioned "What's mistaken with in need of a king?". They desired to worship different idols and holiday God's regulation constantly. Even once they received over regulation-breaking and went into strict legalism they nonetheless desired to be on the earth, the finest amongst international locations, that's why they neglected out on Jesus. Are we, the contemporary Christian global, going to overlook out on Jesus the moment time considering the fact that we do not wish God in our lives up to we profess?

God does not make or hate gays. God loves the sinner but abhors the sin. If you choose to you can change your lifestyle and lead an abstinent life. Repent for your sin and go and sin no more.

God gives us free will it is in the bible God despises homosexuality that is what happened at Sodom and Gomorrah . God hates the sin not the person and we are all given free will God doesn't force anything on us but we will be judged someday that is why we have a bible to know what is right in Gods eyes and by others sins in the bible. If we repent of our sins we will be forgiven when we ask.

For the same reason that God doesn't take away my desire to smoke, it has to be my choice, but God will help me if I let him, the same with lust, you have to want to change and its hard but God will help you, and God does love gay people, its just the sin that he doesn't like, so don't think that God doesn't love you.

No where in the Bible does it say that god has anything against gays. Also, people's sexuality really can't just be "changed"--it's naturally part of who they are, they can't help it. If I believed in God, I think that if God was even halfway intelligent He would realize that discriminating or pronouncing one type of lifestyle as wrong is stupid...
and it's not some kinda disease, being gay happens in the natural world too

Attraction is not the problem. Attraction acted on in thought, desire and action is the problem. On occasion I get so angry that I want to hurt the person who makes me angry. Do I blame God for my attraction to hurt another person or do I control it? I could say that God made me with anger issues so He must want me to act on them, or I could say that God made me with anger issues to demonstrate to me that I need His mercy and help.

God CAN change gay people but they have to want to be changed. He doesn't force his will on anybody, the person has to want it and believe He can change them.

God made them that way. Right?

Who is anyone to question his decisions?
If he changed what he created, it would be like admitting a mistake. And God is perfect. Right?
