It seems to happen that way. My brother got all the luck in my family. But then my luck has largely been due to some poor decisions. I am either too impulsive and don't think things through, or sometimes I don't seem able to consider all the consequences so all my life seems to consist of lurching from one crisis to the next.
Still, looking on the bright side, it's exciting not knowing whats coming next.

you may be correct people seldom realize how much luck plays in their lives they are so busy boistering their egos with every thing good that happens or giving some god create for the nature of things whether they are lucky enough to have an impact or not there is still much luck involved . Aren't we lucky to be born with working brains ?

Perhaps spending more time with the God who created all things would do you good. Look to Christ. Singles and dating might be more important to you than it is to God. Try tuning into Him, and trust Him for what He said.
25 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
( Matthew 6 )

No, when you are doing good things, evil things will push that much harder at you, but don't sway, don't let the devil misguide you, remember The Happy Beginning, not Ending, is Eternal Life with God, looking at the Bigger Picture, you will be richly blessed, for all your good works, we are saved by Mercy, but Blessed by Good Works, Keep looking up, Keep looking to God.

Ecc 9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race [is] not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
Hang in there. Things gotta get better soon!

No. God may be trying to direct you around the worst but you keep ignoring the warning. Remember how you always say, "I knew I should have followed my first mind". That wasn't your first mind. We're not knowledgeable enough that we can see in the future and decide what's best for us. That why the Bible say, "In all thy ways acknowledge Him(God) and He shall direct thy paths.

You need more faith in yourself. Realize that you create your own reality. See yourself with good things happening to you. Mentally focus on what you desire in your life. Things will start to change. It takes a little time and practice. Mental imagery is very important Hold those visions in your head as long as you can. Do it often and always see it in your mind as successful. It will happen for you. Don't focus on what you see happening, focus on what you want to happen. See it as if it is already happening.
