If someone gets into trouble because of a mistake or poor judgment, are you more likely to tell them they're screwed because they made a mistake? Or are you more likely to accept the damage is done and try and help them fix the mistake?

I never understood why retailers such as The Gap, Old Navy, and other famous retailers advertise clothing with small models when they sell larger sizes such as 14-16 for women also, so why don't they have those women modeling the clothes as well? I love Gap clothes, but can't stand the fact that they don't show recognition for those who don't wear a size 0-10 or whatever sizes they advertise!

The Quran says: God forbids you not, with regards to those who fight you not for [your] faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them; for God loveth those who are just. (Quran, 60-8)

It is one function of Islamic law to protect the privileged status of others, and this is why non-Muslim places of worship have flourished all over the Islamic world. History provides many examples of Muslim tolerance towards other faiths: when the caliph Omar entered Jerusalem in the year 634, Islam granted freedom of worship to all religious communities in the city.

Islamic law also permits non-Muslim minorities to set up their own courts, which implement family laws drawn up by the minorities themselves.

The Patriarch invited him to pray in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, but he preferred to pray outside its gates, saying that if he accepted, later generations of Muslims might use his action as an excuse to turn it into a mosque!

Thus forcing the politicians to admit that they are Atheist. What will Christians do then when they loose all their political power become Atheist with the rest of us??

Christians are motivated by the need to reach heaven. They live their lives with this goal in mind. The goal is a selfish goal and everything they do that is perceived a "Christian act" is merely another step to fulfilling the selfish goal of reaching heaven.

Are Christians merely selfish people who live a life of self reward?

Are their deeds meaningless when they are after all only performed with a selfish goal in mind?

It is a bit like marrying a octogenarian millionaire in the hope that he/she dies soon after and leaves you everything. Good deeds are simply a means to an end for Christians.

“Atheism is the height of arrogance: For an atheist to deny the spiritual experience of others is like a blind man telling me I can’t see colours.”

Is this for real? Are there really places like this that exist in the United States?

I always heard of christian fundamentalists, but I was under the impression it was a smaller group, and that people were actually exaggerating when explaining their beliefs.

You know, blowing it all out of proportion.

But this movie disproves my assumptions. What about yours?
