If u say He wans't speaking as He was the only One in the whole universe, tha would mean that humans complited God's senses. God forbid!
I once heared that God the Father, God the Holy Spirit , and God the Son were all speaking with each others. What were they saying since they all were one ?

...God the Father (El Shaddi) and God the Son (Elohim) and God the Holy Spirit (Ruach Ha Kodesh) are connected as One, thru the "Hypostatic" union...(One God)... like "water" and "ice" and "steam"...one exact thing...H2O, all in different forms... (The Apostle Paul tells us that it is a Spiritual mystery...and he's right)... What were "They" saying...? well, on the day you step into eternity and hopefully have the privilege to meet Him...ask Him...

He was speaking to Jesus, or as he was called then, Micheal. The Bible tells us Jesus helped God in the creation, just as a son would help a carpenter father, like an apprentice.

Yes, God was talking with the parts of the Trinity-Father, Son, Spirit. He said those things for our benefit not His. He "talked to Himself" so that we would know that there is a Trinity.

The first creation by God was his son, Jesus Christ, or Michael, as his heavenly name is. So when God began to create the universe, the earth, and all things, he was speaking to his son. Proverbs 8 v 30 & 31.

the god of the OT is YHWH, not Almighty.
hebrews, at the time that this explanatory tale was written, had a small pantheon of gods made up of local dieties, including YHWH.
the trinity wasn't invented until after jesus.

if wat i heard was right, in the beginning (sorry) before the beginning jesus was with god..( it doesn't say anything about god creating jesus) so jesus was with god, and then god created angels, under different category's..
angels were praising god and glorifying god before the beginning
he was surely not alone. not to mention that we were on his mind.
god, son and the holy spirit are all different person with same characteristics.
