there would seem to be. one of the most enlightening series of books i have ever read was the masks of god by joseph campbell. it shows the links in belief between all human societies. how gods and mythology evolved from the goddesses of the matriarchal hunter gatherers before agriculture to the gods of patriarchal farming and pastoral societies. how there seems to be common themes in all beliefs, no matter how distant in time or place. i ended up with the impression that myths and religious belief started in one place and spread out to all cultures. gods and myths grew and evolved with our journey through time and across the face of the world.

No. Name an attribute and I'll find you a deity to which it doesn't apply.
The major religions have common elements because they all have the same source - Judaism, Christianity, Islam and Mormonism are all the same religion at different points on the time line. The Abrahamic faiths are often assumed to be representative of all religions, but they aren't.
Nor is it accurate to assume that 'god' is an inclusive or universal term or that religion=Christianity. I get tired of people making pronouncements against "religion" when they really mean Christianity - their objections usually aren't true of my religion, Wicce. Also, I get tired of people assuming it's ok to pray to "god" because I don't make a habit of praying to male deities.
The only way to be inclusive of all is to remain secular.

Each one of them is right, and all the others are wrong; each one is the only way to get into heaven and all the others will guarantee your eternity in hell; each one of them demands you follow its own customs as laid out in a book created some thousands of years ago by compiling various literature of the day in which the events were supposed to take place which are, apparently, the word of the deity himself, and refusal to do so means you are a heretic; and each one of them requires you to impose the religion on your offspring to the exclusion of all other possibilities and bring them up to worship him and ignore all other deities, because they're all wrong.

That all other religious deities were around thousands of years before christians and catholics thought their god is the only god that's why they try to shove their religions down your throat. Because they fear their ignorance. So there for they are ignorant.

I believe they all have intolerance towards the opposite gender to the leaders. Mostly women are not given equal credibility with men.
They all need interpretation by a human being which inevitably leads to conflict.

no There is only one Diety who rules this world. And he is behind all false gods.
(Ephesians 2:2) . . .in which YOU at one time walked according to the system of things of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit that now operates in the sons of disobedience.
(John 12:31) . . .Now there is a judging of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out.

Yes: they don't exist.
(As Dawkins points out, all Christians are atheists regarding all the other millions of gods that humanity has proposed. Why not just go one further?)
