this is a bit tricky question you have asked.
now look, god is the creator of the universe and man is the creator of science.now when science first developed it gave lot of comforts to us without any certain harm when handeled properly,i mean that was a long time ago,but as you can see,we are destroying the earth by our own creations.....
now see the smoke released from the cars and other vehicles is entering the atmosphere ane the ozone layer is becoming thinner and thinner month by month, year by year, and decade by decade.today the poisonous water released by the factories is causing water pollution......
it is our job to stop it.......cause their is only one species that can save all species on earth and that is us.....
we should stop the smoke and other pollutants from entering our atmosphere.......
as you asked that whether who will save the earth, god or science.........i think science is destroying the world due to us,cause look na we discovered science and we only could save the world by applying more good mechanics which would cause less or no pollution........
but this is of no use we should try our best but scientists have predicted that earth is gonna end after millions of years cause the sun is gonna end because it contains helium and the more the helium burns the more it will expand and this will cause the sun to expand and it will destroy all the planets till jupiter.....but till then we should keep the earth clean.....
but in end it is upto god to save the earth......
but everyone has to die someday.............
so the answer is that science would save us and god would would save the earth........if we would notpay proper attention to science than it may also destroy the earth.........
i will say this is like a misson that god gave us to test us.......

Science cant save the world, it isnt a person. People can destroy or save the world thru scientific discoveries and technology.
I think some people here that are praising science up and down forget that science has also produced weapons of unimaginable destruction. What people do with science and with technology is what will save, or destroy this world.

The Sun will go nova and destroy the Earth in the future. Or a giant asteroid which our science may or may not be able to combat.
So Nature/physics whatever you call it will most likely have the final say.
Humans can use science to wipe out life though. But as for 'saving the earth', science can only try and undo the damage that it does.
Anyone see the awesome sci-fi film 'Sunshine'?

Wars and arguements about God will destroy the world but at the same because i'm a christian i think that god will save it. and science will destroy the world because it will lead people to believe that it is all knowing and without flaw but it will also save the world by solving an energy crisis and healthcare needs.

Man, with science alone, will destroy the world as we know it without wisdom from God. God and science will save the world through the knowledge and actions of man.

Well, if you actually look at science and see that everything that is discovered is first looked at as to it's military uses, what do you think?
There are, right now, enough nukes in the world to destroy the earth a thousand times over and they are still building them.

Nature will destroy the world. Science will grant us the knowledge we need to get off the planet before the sun vaporizes what is left of the Earth when it goes to the "red giant" phase. Science has already shown us how the world will end - if we HUMANS don't blow it up first. It isn't science that can destroy the world - its human beings using misapplications of the good that it can do that MIGHT destroy the world. Don't blame science - blame HUMANS.

Nope. re·li·gion (r-ljn) n. a million. a. perception in and reverence for a supernatural ability or powers referred to as writer and governor of the universe. b. a private or institutionalized device grounded in such perception and worship. 2. The life or condition of a guy or woman in a non secular order. 3. a set of ideals, values, and practices based on the classes of a non secular chief. 4. A reason, theory, or pastime pursued with zeal or conscientious devotion. not one of the 1st 3 may be utilized to "technology" or the scientific approach (no supernatural something in technology, in perception or worship, no non secular order, no ideals for #3). The fourth description ought to *possibly* prepare, because of the fact there are certainly many scientists that pursue their scientific pastime with zeal or devotion...yet once you pass that some distance, you will could desire to call any profession a "faith." that must be fairly stupid. in basic terms what's there to be "saved" from, by making use of ways? technology delivers us with stable, testable data -- that's it. What we do with those data is as much as us. And so some distance as i will work out, the only element we ought to probably prefer "saving" from is our very own stupidity... Peace.
