I've never seen a purple elephant. I do know that elephants exist, but I've never seen any evidence that any of them are purple, so no, I don't believe in purple elephants at this time - unless, of course, it's painted purple.

If, however, someone provided evidence or a preponderance of anecdotal sightings of such a creature, I'd have to keep an open mind on the subject.

Doesn't matter if I believe in them; when purple paint is thrown on an elephant, it becomes a purple elephant.

I believe you could paint an elephant purple...

But no elephant is naturally born purple.

I guess that makes my answer a "no".

Sure, and years ago they used to hunt them for their ivory in the state of Alabama. They hunted in one special area, because their "Tuscaloosa".
