To be honest they are all full of crap. Rud reakons he will make houseing more affordable, yea right. And Howard who says there will be no GST when he was voted in. So who are you going to vote for on your ballot on the 24th of this month? I know this question has nothing to do with r and r but I do not give a. Plus you get more answers on here anyway.

I'm probably going to vote Howard. Rudd will just blow out the budget big-time until the country is just about bankrupt all over again and send interest rates into the stratosphere.
Much as Howard's polices have been off the wall lately, they've at least had the sense to backtrack a little and fix up some of the messes of the last season. Perhaps if Australia had not handed them an open ticket to both houses of Parliament in first place, then some of the more silly laws wouldn't have happened. That's why I will be voting Howard in lower house (better money managers) and anybody except Howard in the upper house.

I'm having a tough time with this election. I can't stand Costello, so don't want him as PM, but I get the impression that Rudd's team of ministers are largely clueless ameteurs - and one look at the repulsive "face" of Peter Garrett is enough to put me off voting completely!! It's a hard decision that I haven't quite made yet. I think the more independents that are in the senate though, the better.
What's your own opinion?

Well Howards clearly full of bull so I reakon there might be a slightly better chance with Rudd, but I'm not too sure either way. I reakon things'll just keep sliding downhill from here.

I am almost 50 and I have never voted , I don't see anything worth going to the trouble of reading a ballot card for any side , No matter who wins it will still be a lying poly

Big Bad Bob Brown - a real choice - not just me-too.

Ultimately you do have to choose between HJ and KR - and given JH's record of lies, "non-core" promises, demeaning Australia by crawling up Bush's **** and late conversion to being green I'll end up going for KR

I'm a greenie and secular! But out of Howard and Rudd i prefer Rudd and hope he wins.

For those one don't know the secular party is a new one that believes in the seperation of church and state. They are only in the senate at the moment so i'll vote for them in that.

Why do you feel you have to choose between these two parties when there are the democrats, greens etc, etc???? I would vote for Johnny if he wasn't going to retire halfway through his next term. Rudd is not a person to trust.

Well, I despise Little Jonnies IR reforms almost as much as I dislike his stand on just about everything else, but really, any politician who spends damn tax money on "unchain my heart" advertisements to try and make themselves look good loses my vote forever. I consider it corruption.

So, that kind of narrows it down a bit. :)
