How does removing "Under God" and "In God We Trust" from the Pledge of Allegiance and our currency, respectively, limit a believers ability to practice their religion as they see fit?

If removing them doesn't violate a believers 1st Amendment right to freely exercise their religious beliefs...why are they still on there????

Another question. If removed from the pledge and our currency, would that anger your god, and make him want to hurt this nation?

I've never really understood how those who support keeping both slogans on our currency and in our pledge justify their position... when they realize that removing them doesn't violate their Constitutional rights.

My parents never took me to church as a child. Now that I am older I have married a man whose family is very religious. I feel that it is a sign that I need religion in my life. The problem is that I will in the future own a liquor store. Which religions will be acceptable of me? And I am yet to be saved (as I said I was never taken to church even as a baby) so how can this be handled?? I have been going to church but I feel like I am constantly being put down like one of the sinners the preacher is talking about because of this. I don't want to feel that way anymore. I need information..please help.

The more people I talk to, the more I feel attatched to this great country. But I feel I am not getting the full picture. Britain has a lot to be proud of, but the question is this; can you name them all?

I am madly in love with and engaged to a witch. Not a Wicca, but a pagan. I am a pastor's son, and while I know my family would want me to be happy, I'm more worried about the religious conflict. I know God didn't like the Jews joining with other cultures, but does that still apply today?

Children are innocent until tainted. They will befriend all children until told not to. Be honest. Do you teach them to except all or do you teach them to dislike certain groups? Do you think it is healthy if you answer yes to the latter?

I've noticed that there are some students who use the languages section of Y!A as a means of getting answers to their homework questions, so they won't have to do the work themselves. Unfortunately, there are also some answerers who are more than happy to do their work for them. Why? I know that everyone here enjoys getting points, but don't the answerers realize that they aren't doing the questioners any favors by doing their homework for them? After all, the only way the questioners are going to learn their target language is if they actually do the work themselves.
