It would be a sin yes, you leave parts out of this question, Is marriage involved, then it is adultry, Lust is adultry, a sin is sex outside of marriage, you will not even be convicted of your sins, if you don't have The Holy Spirit in the first place that is why you do not know what is right from wrong.

Ending a same-sex relationship is not a sin, it is good.
Ending a same-sex relationship because you want to obey God is much better.
Ending a same sex relationship to start a heterosexual relationship is not a sin, however care should be taken before starting a new relationship regarding your what are your true motives, feelings, etc.

It'd be better to be natural than unnatural. Homosexuality is unnatural. Most opposite sex members tend to be younger, especially the girls.
However, wait until you're married before having sex. If not, you're fornicating and will go to Hell if you don't repent and stop.

I think it depends on what your beleifs are! I beleive it is wrong for samee sex relationships, and it is wrong for sex out of marraige! Anyone can tell you what you should do, or what they beleive to be right or worng! You can re-arrange any religion to "fit" your needs or desires! But what does your heart and conscience tell you?

I'd consider being in love with somone else a good reason.
Hell, I'd consider lusting after somone else a good enough reason. The only thing keeping you tied to one person is yourself......or possibly kids.
