He argues with everybody and that really turns me off. Is this shallow of me?

Nope, not shallow at all. We've all drooled over guys in magazines, or on TV screen without knowing what they were like. And we've spotted that cute guy at the bar we just HAD to talk to... and found out he's a ja(&a$$. The most gorgeous man I knew turned out to be a total bigot. HUGE TURN OFF.

So no, it's not shallow, if anything it shows you have good taste that a negative personality is a turn off. I'd worry if it were the other way around.

I think you are normal and no, not the least bit shallow. His arguing would drain the energy out of me.

That has happened with me at times. Once I get to know her personality or once she opens her mouth, I am out of there. It is just not a good fit for us to spend time together.

honey, you've got it all backwards. if you liked him for his looks and that took priority over your sense of what I person should and should not be, then you would be considered shallow. actually, the fact that his behaviour does bother you is a good sign. it means that you feel there should be more to a relationship than just good looks.

don't worry, honey. you're fine. this is not something to worry over, yet, is worthy of admiration. some people cannot overcome the aesthetic attraction. this in itself gives you power, so relish it and never let anyone compromise it.

it is obvious that you lend your sense of integrity a fair ear. give it credence, and hold on...even when the days become long and cold deep down to your bones.

I don't think that it is shallow of you at all. There are many things about someone that makes them attractive. Personality is one of those. If you don't like his personality, then what's the point?

Don't stay with someone who turns you off. By staying, you will make each other miserable. This is not shallow. You BOTH each need out to find someone new who can make you happy.

No it shows that you're not shallow. If you were only into his looks and didnt care that he wasnt a nice person then you'd be shallow.

Absolutely not! Good looks are great but it's what's inside that really matters. Take a look around some of the nicest looking people (men & women) are some of the biggest jerks!

Not at all. Bad personality can make people ugly or uglier. Good personality can make them pretty or prettier. You would be shallow if you only considered his looks.

No, it is not shallow ... personality should always count for more than physical appearance.

Not wrong....it happens all the time. That's why crushes wear off quickly when you actually meet the person.
