The more people I talk to, the more I feel attatched to this great country. But I feel I am not getting the full picture. Britain has a lot to be proud of, but the question is this; can you name them all?

Your record of fine poets and novelists is second to none. Nobody in the world writes high-quality literature like the Brits. In World War Two, the British were incredibly tough, while still maintaining their rather proper way of speaking. This advice comes from an American who has lots of respect for the English (in most cases, of course).

A wonderful long history from neo-lithic to Roman to Norman to the present, all leaving fabulous monuments and architecture for us to admire, a great tradition of pioneering, important inventions and world firsts in industry, science and medicine. It's good to be British.

just thought id say, taken from wikipedia:
Taio Cruz is a singer, producer, songwriter and performer. He is of Nigerian and Brazilian descent.

So I don't think that us English ones should have him as one of our top reasons to be proud of england...
