If you believe in this, then how do you interpret the following scripture?

Hebrews 10:26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30For we know him who said, "It is mine to avenge; I will repay,"[a] and again, "The Lord will judge his people."

No offense, but I don't understand the whole rosary thing and the repeated prayers.

7 And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

Why, then, do you chant man made prayers over and over?

I see people on the street and it made me wonder why they choose to live like this instead of under a roof.

Bible never mentions teenagers/adolescents. Only babies, kids, adults and elders. Also Biblical movies don't have teenagers... it looks like a child goes straight to adulthood in the bible.

If all we need to do is accept Jesus as our saviour and we are good to go to heaven.

Then why do we need churches? Why do we need to pay tithe?

Why do we need to preach and try to convert all people to Christians when God already gives everyone a chance to know Him?

If a down-syndromed person who can't read or write don't go to church and not even reads the Bible but given a chance to accept Jesus anyway, then why would anyone need to go to church or pay tithe?

Does this not sound too convenient to be a marketing strategy of smart business men(priests, fathers, popes, etc) inable to generate lots of profit throught the fear of being cast to hell or joy of wanting to go to heaven?

Why do you go through all the trouble?

Why read the Bible when you already are sure Jesus speaks to you on a daily basis through your prayers?

Like I said, I smell fish from all these requirements made by the church.

I just wish you people could be more sceptical.

feeling corny?

I just answered a great question, from Rachel, asking if people report questions asking for prayers and, second later, the question disappeared. Some time earlier, I answered a question from a friend, asking for prayers for another friend, and that question was also deleted. I don't pray, but what is wrong with sending some love to who needs it?

Thank you for your answers! :)

Have a wonderful day! :)

Is it the person who has just placed their shopping on the belt or the next person in the queue waiting to place their shopping on the conveyer belt?

The woman's dress is always a full dress which fits over a long-sleeved blouse and full-length slips. An apron is then fitted over the dress and the "poyas" (belt) is tied around the waist. Unmarried women wear their hair in a braid down the back, married women use two braids and scarves. The total garment is known as a "sarafan," and is usually very brightly colored when colorful fabrics are available. In China and to some extent in Brazil, it was common for the women to weave their own cloth out of flax which they grew in their fields and then to dye it with juices from berries and other fruits. The main items of religious significance are the poyas and the cross on a chain or thong around the neck. These symbolize the bond between their bearers and Christ. The other articles of dress are determined by a combination of religious doctrines and nonsecular custom. The women, for instance, are never permitted to cut their hair. This is specifically forbidden in the Bible.

She was a Jehovah's Witness, as is her husband. Do you think there is something wrong with a religion that preaches that it must be given preference over families, the very fabric of life? If you were in the position where you had to choose between your family and your religion, what would be your choice?

I have been not wearing underwear for about 2 years now. I am a classy girl and am very proper so I honestly think it's odd that I don't wear it.

I only wear if I am seducing my boyfriend or something along those lines. I use it purely for him. But otherwise I can't stand it, I think pantylines are awful and I love life without underwear!

*** P.S. I OF COURSE wear it when I am wearing a skirt or a dress. JIC it's windy out.

Then at least the creationists will get refuted by the best we can offer. Right now, as an atheist, it is pretty annoying to debuff the same/similar questions every few minutes.

I'm wondering this because I am Chinese and I know of people who get offended when they are called Japanese. I already know that for instance, there are alot of Asian cultures. Some that fall into this catagory are: Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, Canton, etc... But why specifically do Chinese people get offended?

If you say no, what is the difference? Because both ALLAH and YHWH said, "There is only ONE God Almighty."
