Im not a feminist, and I dont like them either, but Im willing to side with them if it means exposing religion. fact is, in a few years, women wont need men anymore because the sperm wont be needed to make a woman pregnant. mice have already been created this way. in certain animal species, there are no males.
maybe in several thousand years, humans will no longer bare male descendants. what will this make religion look like? jesus and mohammad were useless to humanity? its all just biology and nothing spiritual?

(Questions for Christians...)

Then how did your spirit get into your physical body?

Obviously the spirit had to be around before your body was...

So if you do not believe you existed before your life on Earth...then do you believe we will return home to God...to Heaven?

If you believe we return home...then where did we come from in the first place?

Old Orthodox Christianity is not a religion, an institution or an organization. It is, to the contrary, the way of life initiated by Jesus Christ and a living organism comprised of those who believe in Him.

The CHURCH IS PEOPLE - GOD's PEOPLE - WHO

gather together in His name, thereby calling themselves Christian;
share a common faith and hope based on the love of God;
affirm the truth, or orthodoxy, of their faith, belief and experience; and
proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to all.
An orthdox Christian, then, is one who fully lives and proclaims God's Truth as it has been revealed by Jesus Christ and experienced everywhere and at all times by His People, the Church.

I have noticed that the customer service @ my optometrist office is going down hill. The girls who work in the front of the office are rude and obnoxious. They talk about customers in really loud voices and the office is not big so everyone can hear them. The two optometrist who work there seem obvious to the problem. I really like my optometrist so I don't want to stop going to him...but I am considering it because of these girls. I don't know how I would go about complaining to him. I work in customer service so I know some days can be bad days but I have been back three times in the past week and I have received rude service all three times!

Just curious how Y!A Christians feel about this guy's column re: global warming: http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=58513

He says, basically, that God has promised not to flood the earth again, so we, as mere humans, need to stop thinking that there's anything that we should or even could do about global warming.

I found this statement especially hard to understand:
"It is so presumptuous and haughty of believers and non-believers alike to think man is in control of the destiny of the planet God created for us. "

Taking that way of thinking, do any of us have free will at all with regards to controlling the destiny of the lives that God created for us? Didn't God ask you to act as stewards of this planet?

Or, is this guy just a nutjob?

Is this too funny or what?
Celebrating more than one mass a day may push Roman Catholic priests over the alcohol limit if tougher drink driving rules come into effect in Ireland, a leading clergyman said on Friday.

Altar wine is an essential part of the Eucharist, the ritual in which Catholics believe the priest turns bread and wine into the body and blood of Jesus Christ. A priest drinks a small amount of the wine during the mass.

Under proposed Irish legislation, the limit of 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood is expected to be tightened but no new level has yet been specified.

Because the ranks of the Catholic clergy are thinning out, priests -- especially in rural areas -- often drive to several churches on Sunday to say mass for congregations who have no resident clergy.
Irish media quoted another priest from western Ireland as saying he often took three services in a day.

Ok here is a tough question for you Christians.

You believe that humans can only ascend to heaven by accepting Jesus as their savior.

No one comes to the Father except through Jesus.

This is because our sin is too heavy and intolerable in heaven.

That is why Jesus sacrificed Himself from the first place; for our sin.

If Jesus did not die for our sin we would not be accepted in heaven.

So what about the people that died before Jesus' cruxifiction?

Will they not be accepted in heaven since Jesus did not die for their sin yet?

Remember that without Jesus' sacrifice humans' is not acceptable in heaven.

What about the good people that died just before Jesus died?

If they are accepted in heaven or recieves a chance to put Jesus as their savior on the judgment day then the whole essence of the sacrificing thing of Jesus is void.

This is the key in a Christians life.

But this essential key is seemingly at doubt in my eyes.

So can you explain this to me?

If you honestly felt that you could not deal with the lack of proof and poor evidence provided, and if you still felt that God wanted you to pursue the path of unbelief-would you?
Would you turn away from God if you felt that was His will?
If God wanted a world with Atheists in it and he need you to be among their number, could you honestly embrace Atheism?
Or would you defy God's WIll?

I am not even concerned about his latest troubles with his show being temporarily pulled for using the n word thats another story. He prays to Jesus in almost every episode then turns around uses horrid language makes threats then turns around and trys to be nice the last few minutes before he gets his bounty's to jail. Never in his prayers does he ask for forgiveness for his mouth language. Or threats he makes. I get the whole no ones perfect and we all make mistakes and all we have to do is ask to be forgiven. He never does!

The president in all his finery sends the christian young men and women of this nation to die professing that he is a christian God fearing man. I do not see him sending his daughter out to die in battle, nor do I see him personally running into battle gun in hand attacking the enemy. I do see him however pulling the strings not risking any of his grand lifestyle ehile the people of our nation suffer the torment of loss.

This is a question for Christians...

Where were you before you came to earth?

And if you say Heaven...then who made you and how?

Were you always in Heaven with God, or did he make you?

Why did we have to come to earth, since we were already in Heaven?

How do you get back into Heaven?

Will we know each other in Heaven?

Will we have knowledge of our time on earth?

And how gets to go to Heaven?

Will God be forgiving and merciful and forgive all people of their sins if they ask for it, or is it "once you're dead, that's it, no second chance at forgiveness"?

So, I'm reading a lot about dedicating yourself specifically to one or two Netjer, and giving yourself a Shemsu name. Are either necessary?

I'm perfectly comfortable with my own name [Renee] unless it is displeasing to Netjer. Also, I really wouldn't mind worshiping all of them equally (well, not *all* right away, since there are hundreds, but rather all of which I know well).

Years before I was into Kemetic Religion I was strictly Aset-based, though more Greco-Roman all-encompassing-goddess Isis, than Aset. Could that be a sign that she is already picked out for me, or would choosing one require much longer study?

Okay I just answered a question about why don't Americans like to touch. It sparked something that happened last month to me. Okay my aunt came to visit & I had not seen her in over 5yrs, so I was so happy because she was one of my favorite aunts. So kept hugging her & when I put my arm around her shoulder when she was talking to my mom, she turned & was like "I know your horny but please", I was like WTF & I said it. She said" Why r u hugging on me" I said "b/c I have not seen you in 5yrs & I missed you". My mom agreed w/ her, I mean I have a bf why would she think that b/c I hugged her that means I'm horny, is that a generational thing? Is that how baby boomers communicate they are in the mood to hug ppl? I just thought that was. . . .wierd, do you?
