No. If we did we'd be in a normal church, with a new roof, a 3,000-pipe organ and a youth group that had dances once a month with the teens from the other 27 churches of our denomination in the county. The average UU congregation has about 100 members, an old roof and is the only one for miles. Here in Stanislaus County our nearest UU neighbors are 40 miles away.
We've been Unitarian Universalists since 1961. The Universal part is for Universal Salvation.
If you leave your Q open long enough (sometimes 20 minutes is enough) someone will tell you we are a cult. Cults are new, have a single mindset and have a single, charismatic leader. We've been around for 200 years. We don't have a single mindset. Some of our leaders are charismatic, some aren't; they change every 5 or 10 years. Calling us a cult is like calling Donald Trump a socialist, but that doesn't stop people.
Someone else will tell you we are "The church that doesn't believe in anything". We believe in many things, but we don't all share the same belief about the nature of God.

No. Some believe he never existed or is a "Paul Bunyion" character created from many myths and folktales. Jesus was a popular name back then. If he existed, he was a normal human being not halfman/halfgod. He may have been a teacher. Jesus is still a popular name in the Hispanic culture. But every Hispanic Jesus does not think of himself as a saviour.

UU except all beliefs. But more so they are seekers of truth & not defenders of a faith. Which is needed basis for christians. Also, I agree with "Bobby Jim" there is no sin concept, so no need for a savior. Besides , if you want to worship jesus there are plenty of churches around to do it in.

No...Unitarians accept anything you want to accept as your "savior". You can claim that God sent a quart of motor oil to be your savior and they would tell you that was okay for you to believe. They believe everything so effectively they believe nothing.

I know Christian Unitarians. Like me, they are pluralist in their beliefs and so are ostracized from most Christian denominations.

Some may, but they mostly just believe in the possibility of many ideas and beliefs co-exisiting peacefully.
