Ok here is a tough question for you Christians.
You believe that humans can only ascend to heaven by accepting Jesus as their savior.
No one comes to the Father except through Jesus.
This is because our sin is too heavy and intolerable in heaven.
That is why Jesus sacrificed Himself from the first place; for our sin.
If Jesus did not die for our sin we would not be accepted in heaven.
So what about the people that died before Jesus' cruxifiction?
Will they not be accepted in heaven since Jesus did not die for their sin yet?
Remember that without Jesus' sacrifice humans' is not acceptable in heaven.
What about the good people that died just before Jesus died?
If they are accepted in heaven or recieves a chance to put Jesus as their savior on the judgment day then the whole essence of the sacrificing thing of Jesus is void.
This is the key in a Christians life.
But this essential key is seemingly at doubt in my eyes.
So can you explain this to me?

Please don't say only God knows or they will be recieving a chance on judgement day since that is totally unjust as anyone would accept Jesus as their saviour if they actually see Him.

Jesus brought the righteous dead with Him after He rose from the dead.
As it is written: "Therefore He says: "When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men." (Ephesians 4:8) Compare that with "...by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison..." (I Peter 3:19)
He preached to both the righteous and unrighteous dead, and took with Him those who were looking for Him (the Messianic Hope) prior to His arrival.

Just as you might be a good person and don't kick your dog it is irrelevant to the salvation of the soul. Those that lived prior to the sacrifice of of Christ were under the Law of Moses, therefor if they did not live up to the law then their fate is sealed. Jesus came and died so that we are no longer under the law but under grace. You are also under the Law and your fate is sealed just as theirs. I am sorry to say that it is you that is in a corner and there is only one way out and it is not by your own doing. The problem that you have is that it is the Law whether you accept it or not and there is only one way out whether you accepted or not. You may not want to believe that the speed limit is 45 but does you unbelief change the fact that the speed limit is 45. NO! You may break the speed limit 1000 times but the one time you get caught you must be accountable. The only way you do not get a ticket is by the grace of the officer if it is not by his grace then you will have to pay the fine eventually.

No one knows all the answers, but one thing is for certain. Everyone living has had a chance to accept Jesus and if you do not, you cannot blame God if you go to Hell.
No unclean thing can enter the Kingdom of Heaven. You need Jesus to wash your sins clean. Imagine if a murderer got off scott free because he said he was sorry. Imagine the outrage. There must be a punishment and a sacrifice and that comes through Jesus.

Your question falls apart here:
"without Jesus' sacrifice humans' is not acceptable in heaven."
No one ever said that. Prior to the crucifixion, there were all sorts of rules for getting into heaven... all that Old testament/Talmudic stuff about not working on Sunday, not masterbating, not eating pork.... It was Christ's sacrifice that erased those laws and replaced them with Christianity.
Or so the silly fairy tale goes.

The smallest of any sin is too much for Heaven.
But just one drop of the Blood of Jesus cleanses every and all sin of humanity.
After the crucifixion Jesus descended into both parts of Hell,
the place of the damned and Abraham's Bosom(Paradise).
When He entered into Paradise He preached the Gospel and all those who chose to received Him were taken to Heaven. God is not stupid. He know exactly what He's doing. You never have to worry about anyone getting left behind. If someone is damned it is because they choose to be damned.

A relatively infantile logic in your question, and the previous answer is fine. I would add that there are over 100 references in the Torah/Old Testament to the metaphor of atonement via sacrifice, and repeated those authors make clear that the metaphors are a forward-looking toward an event fulfilled by the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
Better luck next time with your little "gotcha" routine.

You call this a "cornering" question? It's an easy one, my friend, and it has been asked a million times before.
1 Peter speaks of Jesus "preaching to the spirits in prison" after His death and before His resurrection.
This "prison" is commonly referred to by the Church as the "limbo of the fathers" -- the spiritual state of existence for the righteous people who died before the time of Christ.
Once Christ resurrected and destroyed death, these spirits were freed and went to Heaven.

Those who died before the crucifixion were saved the same way as those who died after the crucifixion. Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness. Those who had faith in God and died before Jesus believed that God would save them. They were looking forward to Christ. The Bible speaks about Samuel resting in Abraham's bosom. All those that had faith in God, which means they believed in Him and understood that they needed forgiveness for their sins, were waiting for Jesus to die on the cross. Once Jesus died He opened the gates of heaven to all those who were waiting for their Savior.

Before Jesus came most of the people where Jewish.
And the old testament is Jewish because Jesus came in the new testament.
But in the old testament their are ways for forgiveness.
And then the people used that

They will be given their chance to know Jesus somewhere else. What Jesus did at Gethsemani was to transcend time and space in order to take unto himself the sins of ALL MANKIND. That means all men from Adam to Omega Man. Those who don't know him will also be judged by the natural law (Romans 2:12-16)
