There is this this guy that has been coming to our church for a few times and he has a goatee and me and some of the other women were talking about it and how the Bible says men aren't to shave the corners of their beard and we got concerned for him because we don't think he knows any better so then I talked to my husband about it and he said he wasn't going to say anything to the man about it and I got sad so I talked it over with the ladies and they said it wasn't our place to confront a man about something and that it was the elders job. What should I do?

With everything that went on in Jena, and all the trash talking about LSU football, it has made me curious as to what exactly is everyone's impression of people from Louisiana?

I'm afraid of what God can do, I'm afraid if I don't live clean then I'm going to hell. I am 50/50 that God exists but I want to really believe. But I'm afraid of what God can do to me and what is going to happen when I die...

At work, I deal with a lot of people over the phone. I hate when people say "you people".
For an example, I got a call today like this:

"I never benefited from "you people" so that's why I thought I'd call you to see if you would help pay my premiums because I am low income". Well, "you people" send me this stuff every year and thought I would call you first.

I would like your opinion of the reason, as given by Catechism Of The Catholic Church:

"In many ways, throughout history down to the present day, men have given expression to their quest for God in their religious beliefs and behavior: in their prayers, sacrifices, rituals, meditations, and so forth. These forms of religious expression, despite the ambiguities they often bring with them, are so universal that one may well call man a religious being..."

"The desire for God is written in the human heart, because man is created by God and for God; and God never ceases to draw man to himself. Only in God will he find the truth and happiness he never stops searching for..."

don't you first have to establish that the bible actually counts as final proof?

If the non-believer does not believe the bible is 100% true, infallible and the direct word of God, quoting from it would not really PROOVE anything for that person. Would it?

It's just like a Muslim quoting the Koran to you or a Mormon quoting the Book of Mormon to you or a Hindu quoting from the Bhagvand Gita. If they did, does that PROOVE anything to you that what they are saying is true? Wouldn't they first have to PROOVE their books are 100% accurate, infallible and the direct word of God first?

Do you realize for a non-believer, they see the bible in the same context you see the Bhagvand Gita?

So wouldn't it make more sense to establish THAT foundation FIRST before using ANY book as a final authority on ANYTHING?

This may sound a little nuts, but it is very intresting and I wanted to get some opinions on the subject. Back in the day, there were supposedly 2 kinds of Gods. Gods of Heaven and Gods of Earth. Well the people of Earth, mainly men were having sex with men to gain enlightenment by stimulating the prostate gland to release saratonin (sp?) Well that pissed off the Gods because humans were becomming as smart as them, so they destroyed the cities, and that's where the anti-homosexual **** came into neo-Christianity. Any thoughts, or rebuttles?

Was he the son of Mary Christ and Jospeh Christ? Actually he would have been the bastard son of Mary Christ and God Christ. Please note that bastard means "unmarried". Was Christ Joseph's last name or did he take the name of the biological adulterous father, who so hypocritically got Mary pregnant when she was promised to another man.

I volunteer for an organization which requires us to work closely on teams of 3-4 members for extended amounts of time. As a result, team members tend to become very close. One of the team member, Janet, is a very nice woman, thoughtful, knowledgeable, professional. However the more time we spend together the less I like her. We're very opposite - she's uptight and gossipy and I'm laid back and keep my mouth shut and take it all in. I can respect the differences (cursing, for instance - I have a bad mouth and I know she doesn't like cursing, so I watch what I say) but lately I don't feel that she does. I recently got my nose pierced - a small tasteful stud. She found this so amusing that she had to stare at me and giggle, then proceed to call someone else and let them know, in my prescence. At first I was amused, then confused as to why it was so funny, then I was just insulted and she kept on until I snapped at her.

God=G+o+d=
7+15+4=26=2+6=8=H

thus hidden within CHRISTIANIT is
C GOD RIST I A IV I liT

hidden within Islam is
I is larri

hidden within BuddisM is
Bud di. is IVI.

or BuddhisM has within it
Buddi GOD is IVI

so if God is His RIST then its IV I.(marked)
if God is One then I is God is larri
if God is dio its di. which is IV I.

So ain't the religions really about the same person?
A larri with RIST IV I?

and since hell shows God e II, perhaps you really meant II a roman numeral two, so God truthfully doesn't rule your hearts and minds. So even though i seemed to have proven I AM god, your really only paying lip service to God, while your pay the real funds to the mafia, or so i learned on tv last night. No wonder the angels God made His winds, are ravaging the world.

what do you think of that?

i want to do whats best for my friend. i dont know whats best for my friend...to confess or not to confess...what wud you do?
let me explain: had an affair with my best mates boyfriend over 18yrs ago, they have been together for 22yrs plus now. my problem is she has asked me to be her witness at her wedding. her man is adamant she will never forgive him because i am her best mate (yeah i know, some best mate i am!) so he will not confess. do i have the right to "confess" after all these years? i know i cannot bring myself to witness for her if i dont confess but if i do confess its going to destroy her. if you were in her position would you like to know? i wud. the easiest thing for me to do is shut my mouth but do i have the right to now that she is getting married? "relationship" and "marriage" are 2 different things. its all shes ever wanted...to be married to her man...i doubt my confession will change her mind. any suggestions?

Recently, children as young as 5yrs old at school have been charged and suspended just for hugging their friend or giving them an innocent friendly gesture.

A 5yr old boy was charged with sexual assault just for hugging his friend.

two 13yr old boys were charged with sexual assault for slapping girls' butts(the girls said they don't mind and they love that game).(I know that's not hugging)

The two examples were revealed on 20/20 last month.

A 13yr old girl was sent for detention for hugging her friend.

What is this world coming to? Why should innocent children be scarred for life and punished for doing innocent silly things and showing love and affection for their friend(hugging)?

What's wrong with hugging?

Revelations 20:14:
"Then death and hades were thrown into the lake of fire"

Matthew 3:12:
