I'm from Louisiana, and most of us are pretty friendly. Except, I do not like the state or the country. The crime is just RIDICULOUS in New Orleans though. It's pretty sad. A lot of different stories do not affect us because we're so used to the crime. Like a double murder is not a big deal to us. Well, it's a big deal, it's just we hear it all the time. And I don't plan to live here my entire life either. The south or America is just not for me.

Louisiana is OK. I live in Arkansas,so I have to make fun of LSU, other than that I have some friends from La, they are cool with me.

I do not like to stereotype people, including all "people from Louisiana"... but what I do know is this: that there is still a lot of RACISM and hate going on in this country and a lot of it is based in southern states. Hate and RACISM does happen everywhere, unfortunately, but it does seem to be more prevalent in the southern states.
But like "Troop" stated [above] there are GOOD and BAD people everywhere you go...

I think that the south has to change, it has to move with the times. The people that are racist need to be brought out in the forefront and educated and made to see how very wrong they are. If we could only unite imagine how wonderful and strong society would truly be. Racism rots the soul.
