So far I have not made any sexual bad/wrong decisions or mistakes. I've never been pregnant or had VD/STD. I have no guilt nor do I feel ashamed of sex and I enjoy masturbating. I rejoice in my sexuality which is a tremendous contribution towards my feeling of self worth and happiness.

In light of the above, the only benefit I see is that you'll have more time.

Having sex with the person you love the most. How can it be wrong?

Well. You never take a chance at getting an STD or STI.
Hence, SHOULD you ever choose to get into a relationship, you don't have to break the news to that person that you've got herpes or something, hence, never having to worry about passing it on to some one else or being alone for the rest of your life because the only people that will date you for being diseased are people you're not attracted to anyway.
You don't become consumed by it as many sexually active people (especially men) do.
You never have to worry about an unexpected pregnancy.

Though there are benefits to sex, I think the benefits of abstinence override them. Of course I think it's clear by my name I don't practice it myself. >D But that doesn't mean abstinence is bad.

Anyone who could honestly say there are no benefits is obviously obsessed with sex. Those are the type of people you want to stay OUT of sexual incounters with.

If one does this to realize the spirit soul beyond this mortal body then they can become a liberated sou along with following other principles such as no intoxication including nicotine or caffeine, and no meat eating and no gambling. One can have sex for procreation which one can still become a liberated soul in this way. Without following these principles one can make little spiritual advancement. They will have to take another birth as long as they have any attachment for these material attachments or any other material attachments as well. Best to give up al material attachments and fully surrender ones self to the Supreme Lord Krishna, also known as Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, Rama, etc. Illiset sex can lead to so much suffering, we can just see.

There are no benefits, but many many negatives.

Consider this: If sexual abstinence were a good thing for you, would christians and republicans be promoting it?

None, aswell as being unable to release stress through sexual activity it does not promote a balanced view of people and relationship, how could a priest who has never lain with a woman,be capable of discussing sex or counselling married couple, like trying to get a plumber to do brain surgery..not a lot of point is there!

Total sexual frustration

the obvious, no diseases, no unplanned children, no emotional hurt when you and that person break up.

but there is also the lack of stress in your life... not a constant worry in the back of your mind of weather you or your girlfriend are going to get pregnant, of weather someone is cheating or not... You can go into a 'relationship' and have the opportunity to just be friends before things get too serious. Some say there's a religious aspect to it too... but i'm not very clear on that point.

I wish i was still a virgin! lol

That would depend on your beliefs and morality. The obvious benefits are no unplanned pregnancies, no sexuality transmitted diseases, and no emotional trauma from bad sexual choices. But if you are a Christian then you also gain the peace of mind that you are following the doctrine prescribed in your holy book. If you are an acetic then freedom from sex allows you to focus on more spiritual matters.
