I am madly in love with and engaged to a witch. Not a Wicca, but a pagan. I am a pastor's son, and while I know my family would want me to be happy, I'm more worried about the religious conflict. I know God didn't like the Jews joining with other cultures, but does that still apply today?

You should be asking yourself about your own religious convictions -- not ours! Do you want your children raised as pagans or Christians? Talk to a pastor.

Marriage is a Secular institution not a religious one--I don't think I need say much more than that. You needn't worry about that unless you're attempting to change who she is...Than and only than will you both have issue(s)/problems. You need to remember that even Witches have a belief system...So they believe that the Earth Mother or Great Spirit rules instead of God...It's all symantecs anyway. PEACE!

The Tanakh was written (mainly) by a minority culture trying to keep their traditions alive. Intermarrying diluted their traditions and threatened their assimilation into the larger culture they were part of. Because of this, there are definitely prohibitions against interfaith/group marriage in it. However, they shouldn't stop you from being happy. They don't really apply today.

What would GOD want you to do? Do you think He would want you yoked with someone who practices witchcraft when, indeed He condemns it in His Word? You may want to get some counseling, and do some really hard thinking about this one.

The Bible says not to be unequally yoked with an unbeliever.
I think you ought to rethink your relationship.

THE BIBLE STATES THAT YOU ARE NOT TO BE UNEVENLY YOKED. MEANING THAT PERSONS OF DIFFERENT BELIEFS SHOULD NOT BE TOGETHER. YOU AND YOUR LADY LOVE SHOULD GET COUNSELING BEFORE ANY SERIOUS DECISIONS ARE MADE.
