What's up with you people! We don't go around making fun of baptists, catholics or jews. we don't despise you or debunk your beliefs. why does everyone hate romney for being a mormon! we never made fun of Bush being a presbiterian. SO why do you bash us and our religion

Jesus lives! And now is death
But the gate of life immortal;
This shall calm my trembling breath
When I pass its gloomy portal.
Faith shall cry, as fails each sense:
Jesus is my confidence!

Is god exists for only those who believe in a particular religion..??
Jesus protects only the christians ..!!?????
God of Abraham protects only the Jews..????

Dosent it look like the meaning of God changes.??? Dosent God becomes a weaker entity if god protects people of only his religion????

I am just curious after hanging out here for a bit what people think about JW's and mormons. So two questions. Just wondering what everyone thinks. If you could list your denomination with your answer i would appreciate it.

1) Do you think JW's are Christians

2) Do you think mormons are Christians

Atheists and non-Christians as I am seeking the opinions of Christians on this question I respectfully ask you to avoid answering. Thank you.

About 2 years ago, it was brought to my attention that my husband had a relationship with a man right before we met. When I confronted him about it, he of course denied it. It's been haunting me ever since. Just recently, the man he supposedly was with, emailed me that we needed to talk, and that I knew what it was about. I never new his name but had my suspisions of who it was. And I was right. He pretty much confirmed everything that I had heard, and then some. Supposedly, they've been together a few times since we've been married. I don't know this guy from a hole in the wall, but I've questioned my husband on more than one occasion about this and he denies it every time. I'm not sure where to go from here. How do I investigate this to know for sure who is telling me the truth. My husband is a liar, I know that. But is the other guy telling me the truth? I don't know anyone that knows him enough to varify anything about him and how he opperates. What do I do?

I was just wondering how you say "good point" or "point well taken" in Latin. I don't think a literal translation will suffice here,

Ethical dilemma:
What to do with teens who show up to local Pagan events and classes, or who I just meet by chance who express an interest in Wicca? Our little group has a rule that anyone under 18 has to have signed parental consent or a parent present to attend. I think that is only responsible and I wish churches had the same rule. But I also worry that the kids we turn away are so desperate for information and so idealist and gullible that they are easy pick’ns for predators pretending to be Pagans/Witches. Some kids are afraid to tell their parents, because of the harsh treatment they will receive. I believe a few are truly called to this path. Most I think are just looking for something, anything different from what they’ve been taught. Many become so beat down by Christian friends telling them they are going to hell. Others have no guidance and end up embarrassing themselves when they go off half-****** talking about their “ancient religion” and how they can do this or that wild outlandish thing. I feel for them. But, I just cannot bear to break the consent rule. Is there anything that can be done for these teens, ethically?

Sounds like a lack of faith. Better yet, here's this: Science proves God, The plan is amazing, the creatures are amazing, our ability to reproduce is mind boggling. We can today know the chemical elements that God used to create life where none existed! We can see how he evolved us from amoeba like structures over millions of years! It is amazing, and here is the proof of God: We breathe in what the trees breathe out, and vise versa. Why would religion seek to deny the very thing that proves the miracle of our universe!? I have an idea, because religion itself was created by MEN to unite people under a king or pope for the purpose of subjugating them and rallying them to kill the infidels (OTHER LIVING CREATURES), and science has disproved some of the suggestions for the start of life that MEN guessed in the book they wrote to control us. My faith is renewed every time I watch to discovery channel step outside to see the stars. I doubt the almighty will burn u in hell, he has no EGO.
