im losing my faith. i go to a catholic school,and im an eigth grader. my grandmother is highly spirutal, but what my religion teacher is telling my class seems like no sence at all! im not saying that i don't believe in God but, i have prayed for something for three years, and it hasen't happened, i feel as if he is letting go, this doesn't make sence. im going to be confirmed, but my faith isn't as strong as it used to be.
all my family are spirtual, but all the teachers are confusing me.

here is the real question, how can i make m faith strong in God, i am going through a hard time in life.

like whoa oh no this is my life,how far have i gotten ,what did i achieve,when will it stop.

i have had a severe reality checks or a mid life crisis...hmm?
maybe alot of tragedies in my life that i thought where too crazy as in a dramafied movie...

i am not who i want to be i still struggle socially at work ,but have gotten a promotion since then.

i view the world like a movie the good the bad and the ugly and those i see that i dont want any part of,i dont really judge,i just know..and i do treat all with respect.

but as you know the world is filled with mean,ignorant people who have no regards to others feelings or hopes

i feel like im one of the few people who think this way and i do feel extremely different from others.

can anyone relate to muah?.

I'm an athiest, but that doesnt mean I'm narrow minded.
I am open to the possibility of "God" but apart from a book (that was writted by man) is there anything to go by ? any solid evidence ?

(...I've looked at previous similar questions that have been answered with "the trees, plants, animals" etc, but its a fact they came from their parents and so forth, so they themselves cant be considered "evidence that he exists").

hate for men?
Not to go in details here--had abusive father, and nearly raped by a date I just met. No good male role models in life. I know it's no excuse, but how do I overcome this hate for men. I trust in God and know He can help me.

I've already went to counseling and wrote a journal, but it hasn't helped much.
Anyone out there who is in similar situation or suggestions needed.

do catholics really think they're the only ones going to heaven??

i heard today that they believed they cant go to any other church and that they'd go to hell if they're not catholics


i'm a baptist and i kinda got scared about that cuz i always thought u only had to be a christian and just join the church u believe more in but it doesnt REALLY matter what church u join. as long as you're a christian.

catholics...is this true? and where in th bible did it say. noone else answer please.

i dont want nonbelievers answering this question knowing what they might say. so im not being mean or anything. im just asking catholics this.

I have gained a lot in the last 8 to 9 years and am now 620 which makes me very obese. I love my size and am not looking to be preached to about any weight loss or other solutions. I know there are groups that support people like me in a positive answer. I don't need any emotional or phycological support, just a group to share certain questions or matters. I know some of you will reply with jokes and that is fine. I actually enjoy them. One can call me fat, gordo or all the other size names and they are all true. I know I am very fat and I never deny the facts. Thanks for your ideas.

In an answer to one of my recent questions, a person mentioned how that when you ask a Catholic, “Are you a Christian?”….that MANY respond, “No, I am a Catholic.”

And I personally have heard this TONS of times while sharing the Gospel to Catholics!

The first time I heard it, I shook my head in profound dumbfounded disbelief and awe…!

I mean…DON’T GET ME WRONG:
There are many Catholics who don’t respond this way…!

But WHAT does it tell you about the Catholic Church…and Her pathetic commission from Christ to “Feed My sheep”!?

How SHAMEFUL!

…and you deny the fact that there are SO many cachectic sheep in your pews!

Oh, the PIERCING blow of truth!

MY PEOPLE PERISH FOR LACK OF KNOWLEGDE!

Obviously this scripture is not plain enough because people invoke Saints, Mary, Idols, Priests, and Popes to interceed to God on their behalf.

With a close study of the book of Hebrews it becomes abundantly clear that there is no one standing between God and man save Jesus Christ alone.

Isnt' going through another intercessor:

1. Vain
2. Insulting to Jesus Christ
3. A foolish and dangerous teaching of replacing the Son of God with some human idea?

Could mythology be a way of expressing a truth for which people do not have the words to express otherwise?
