I definentally would. My older sister was in Cananda and she had gotten a lot of things stolen. Here's the story:

She was just casually walking when a homeless guy walked up to her and said, "Do you want to be my girlfriend?" She's like, "No I don't even know you". The guy walked away but my sister and her friends soon realized that the guy was following them, so they ducked into a restaraunt and sat down. Meanwhile, the guy was searching for them and found them at the restaraunt, so he got angry that they were hiding from him. He rushed into the restaraunt and seated at the booth right behind my sister and her friends, and their backs were faced towards him. My sister had her purse right next to her, and it had her brand new razr phone and her $200 coach wristlet, along with a bunch of makeup products worth $250 and a lot of other things. The purse was about $100. The guy became so upset when he realized that they were talking about him, so he grabbed my sister's purse. My sister realized that it was stolen, and she saw the guy run out with it. She quickly ran to the door, only to realize that the guy had left. She called her cell phone (which the guy had) on her friend's phone. This was their conversation:
Sis= CAP LOCKS
Guy= normal
BRING ME BACK MY STUFF!
No!
BRING ME BACK MY STUFF OR I'M GONNA FIND YOU AND KILL YOU AND IM GONNA KILL YOUR MOM
bye. (hangs up)

My sister had to go and buy all new stuff. Sad, I know. Thanks for reading!!!

I'd confront the person but I won't be violent about it. I'll just present the facts why I believe that person stole something from me and tell him/her that I'd like to get it back right away.

No! That is, indeed, asking for more trouble. I would however, approach them with a few friends and hopefully when they are not alone and ask them, "Why did you steal this or that from me?" This would put them on the spot and those around may have second thoughts about them. Embarrassment and humiliation are always good tools and you aren't getting into trouble.

Hi there, difficult 1 you have here.
How do you know it was stolen by the person you are about to lose the rag with?
Is your source of info reliable and accurate against the accused?
Doe's the accused have a past known history?
Are they being stitched up?

you should avoid becoming violent since it can easily get out of control and you yourself might get hurt. I think it better that you ask some older person who you respect for some advice on how you should handle the situation. Maybe the solution is to report it?

I would approach them with my 2 German Shepherds and mention that my dogs love to bite people who steal my stuff. Now, give it back, right away!

I once collected $115.00 from some jerk who owed me that money that way by accident. LOL I saw the guy on the street walking and I was with my dog then. He said, "Wow, that dog is big. Does he bite?" I said "Only the people that owe me money, where is that $115.00 you owe me?" LOL He said come back later today and I will have it for you. I did and he did too. True story.

words are effective: they have a tendency to grow to be actual. on your own words, 'He explodes into shouting over little issues'. that's one in all many indications ladies see of their boyfriends that they pick to ignore because they're positive that the adult adult males would replace in time, that the adult adult males they love would ultimately 'come to their experience'. by technique of the time the ladies realised that all and multiple the above are really no longer obtainable, the wear has been executed. do not take your possibilities with him. he will, finally, hit you. i do not pick to grant a time decrease through the indisputable fact which will in easy words make you experience more advantageous complacent. convinced, that sounds ridiculous, yet i'm asking you to play danger-free. If he really loves you, he gained't act so ungentlemanly. tell him what you imagine about, and if he explodes right into a rage merely because you attempt to grant him slightly of your thoughts, it is so long.

You mean if I knew the person and they were at my house, no, it would just make things worse, I would just calmly talk to them. But if I was on the street, I would fight back, but if they already had taken it I would just let it go (but I am a woman and so I would most likely be much weaker!).

No, if I did not actually see the person steal the item, I would just approach them and ask them to return it.
