any of you christians have disbelieving friends that won't be joining you in heaven? doesn't that make you sad? wouldn't your heaven (the most ideal place in theory) have all of your friends there? if the place was perfect, and your friends couldn't join you, is that place really perfect?

Since there are many things that we feel/experience (love, dreams, etc.) but can't explain fully or prove the existence of...could you possibly consider that the soul/spirit, that I feel as deeply and am as sure of as the previously mentioned, is just as real.

Hopefully all of you have experienced love, in the romantic sense, and can understand the following. Before you experienced romantic love, you could not understand or explain it...so could the same hold true for the spirit.

Love existed before you discovered it...but before that you could not understand it. Maybe you haven't looked within yourself to find this...which is the same place you found love.

To clarify...I am not a Christian and am not trying to "save" you.

I believe deeply that spirits/souls exist in all living creatures, and am just wondering how this can be ignored, missed, or lost on so many people.

According to all the sources I've read, "atheist" allows for the formation of a "regular plural," by the simple addition of the letter "s" at the end.

In those stupid left behind movies, all of the religious people dissapear, while everyone else is left on earth. I think I would love to see that happen. The world would be a lot better of a place if all the religious floozies were gone. I would love to see that happen.

I've noticed that on alot of websites etc when you have to fill in forms.
Since I'm a kiwi I'm more used to writing my D.O.B as 17/10/84 instead of 10/17/84.

I just counted. Where I live, you can pick up two off of the antenna, and the basic cable package comes with four. On top of that, there are local channels that pick up some Christian programs, like the 700 Club. And no, I don't live in the Bible belt.

Looking for something to grow indoors... that blooms and possibly (ha) flowers. Even a rose, but not red. I've only had silk flowers before.
