Evil was upon the earth always. Religion did not create it. Just like even before religion people and people that do not believe in a religion they know the difference between good and evil

Oh, sure... definitely! Like all of those millions of people tortured and slaughtered by Communist atheists like Stalin, Pol Pot, CeauÅescu, Mao Zedong and Kim Jong Il? Hey, it was their own fault for being so religious. Get rid of religion and there'd be no Christians for the bad guys to slaughter. I guess that means we should blame religion for the evil they did.
Are you familiar with the term "non sequitur"?

It depends on if you let the religion ruin you. Like any society, religion is filled with power and greed, however it is also filled with love and peace. It all depends on how the religion is percieved... Personally I do not believe in any one religion because I think in one way or another they are all a bit hypocritical... I believe in being a good person and living my life to my own standards. I refuse to be judged by a religion.

Tempting to agree with you, but Right and Wrong exist, irregardless of religion.
Is wanton slaughter Evil because of what it is, or because Religion says it is?
there are Evil acts and Good acts. Religion just gave us the words good and evil.

What about all the blood spilled behind the Iron Curtain in the twentieth century - oceans of it? Religion had no involvement of any kind in that, and yet it is a clear evil.

Religions didn't spontaneously appear out of nowhere. It is human greed and power that is the root of all evil. Religion is merely a symptom.

If there was humankind before religion and there is such a thing as morality (ie. the killing of infants is immoral) then I'd disagree. You're right that some religions are immoral (ie. sexist policies of Islamic doctrine, cults, Satanism) but not every single religion is bad.
