I agree. Religion is a remnant of an ignorany society. Science moves forward, providing enlightenment to all who seek it. Religions have been dragged into the 21st century. We no longer have witch burnings or stonings, except in Iran which is a theocracy.

Now don't get mean about it!
Yes, we 'religious floozies' will all be gone and out of your sight. Here's the deal, we get taken away to a better place.
Some religious people try to explain this to you and maybe get carried away, are too zealous. Think of it this way, they are just trying to get you to say you want to come to the party.
It's not the 'religious floozies' job (or right) to judge you, only invite you to come along. If you don't want to go, that's your choice and no one can make it for you.
To answer your question,
I absolutely DO NOT want to be left behind
nor do I expect to be.

Just Biblical Truth
KJ Bible
I think you will get what you want...
Why is it silent in the heavens for the space of half an hour? Notice in scripture Jesus disappears after he opens the seventh seal. (this equals 7 years on Earth)
Revelation 8:1 And when he had opened the seventh seal , there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
1 Thessalonians 4 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
I hope it happens soon!

It would also prove that they were right.
If non religious people don't start working to solve some of these huge problems, it won't matter it religious people are here or not.
The problems we face are due to man. Man created religion and sustains it. Religion is a symptom of the greater problem,... our inner conflict. We rebel against our nature so we create beings powerful enough to control it.

WOW! What a display of willful ignorance! If this event occurs, it will signal the beginning of the end of the world as the Bible prophecies state. If THIS prophecy is fulfilled, it stands to reason that the other prophecies, particularly those in the Biblical book of Revelation will also come to pass. If you take time to read that book, you will plainly see that you DO NOT want to be here at that time. Sure, there will be "peace" and "prosperity" for a short time, then, literally, "all Hell will break loose" (definitely no pun intended).
I would recommend that rather than cynicism and ignorance, you take steps to ensure that you are not one of the ones left behind. Your only chance is to accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

Haven't seen those Left Behind movies, and don't plan to either. Not sure if the world would be a better place as much as it would be more rational and enlightened.

Actually They have it backward. The Lord is going to take 1/3 of the population which will be the NON believers. The people left behind are the people protected from God's wrath & the believers of Jesus Christ.

Hello,
Many Christians doubt this rapture idea anyway. The idea just came up in relatively recent times in the 18th century.
It is just not going to happen and why be obsessed with it since you will most likely die from a car accident or cardio- vascular disease.
Cheers,

Well, that would be interesting. I don't think everyone who is religious is crazy like that but the ones who are.... It would certainly be a better world without all the discrimination and bigotry justified by religion...
