My success at sneaking out of the house taught me only one thing...my parents never slept! I would get 1/2 way down the walk and there would be this 'little" voice, "going somewhere, Phil?" IT was as if there were motion detectors installed in the entire house! And I swear, my father had ESP to the extreme! Everytime I got to take the car on a date, no matter how insignificant the crushed fender, no matter how little damage to a tail light, he could spot it from a block away! The funniest thing that ever happened in my household regarding damaged cars was....we lived on a corner lot, no curbs. it seemed that everyone cut the corner farther and farther into our yard, so Dad set out concrete blocks as a warning not to cut corners there..Mom, in her infinite wisdom, told him, "you know the first person who will hit those will be Phil in your car, don't you?" ...yep, you guessed it...do you have any idea how much damage a concrete block can do to new Lincoln towncar? from just behing the front fender to the rear bumper! Who would have guessed? Let's see, car-less for another month over that one! I used to walk alot, or double date in someone else's car often! I am surprised I ever learned to drive, lord knows I didn't get many chances driving family cars! Ah, those WERE the good old days, weren't they? Phil

I did! 25 years ago when I was in high school and I wasn't allowed to do anything but go to school and come home.
I rode around Orlando with my friends, getting high and drinking Mickey's malt liquor, Pink Champale, Private Stock, and the first wine coolers ever made, Bartles & Jaymes. I was a lightweight and usually ended up being the designated driver. Those were some of the best days of my life.....irresponsible, but oh, what fun we had.
My daughter is 17 and she never had to sneak out of the house because I remembered feeling like a prisoner when I was a kid. We have a great relationship.

No but I have been sneaked in more than a few times. Getting in was easy. All you had to do was be quiet. Her folks expected to hear her coming home. It's trying to get out that was the hard part.

I can't say I've ever done that. I was a good kid for far too long, and so by the time I would normally have had to sneak out, I could just tell them. They preferred it that way, I'm sure.

I never that. I do remember coming home late one night after I'd been out with friends. I had to climb up on the flower box and peck on the window, so my sister would let me in. I like to of never got her awake, then I had to sneak down the hallway and into my room without waking my parents.

Nope!...I guess one of the reasons I never did most of that stuff was because from 13-17 I lived in a dormitory at an American High School and France and what with close to 90 boys and girls living without our parents, albeit dorm moms and dads, we felt really FREE and unique

Yes, I would sneak out of the house and take my older brother's car out of the garage and take my friends cruising. It is hard to believe I was never caught.

Yes in the summer time . My girlfriend and our boyfriends just sat on the creek bank below our homes listening to music and talking, but we made sure we were back inside before 11:00 because thats when our dads got off work. If we got caught we knew our summer would be shot.

My parents were divorced, but they got along really well, so I kinda stayed with both of them....when I lived with my dad I would sneak out of the house and go around dumping people's trash cans over.......egging houses.......if they had a car it was a stick, we would put it in neutral and push into the road in our neighbor hood.......there was a group of us.....we were bad........my dad caught me a couple of times......
I never did sneak out of my moms house, she would of killed me, she always knew everything I did, she was a step ahead of me........

Yes in the summer hols, me and one of my elder sisters snuck out and went for a moonlight cycle and then a swim in the river, it was great fun, I was surprised how many others were there at the time, it was really nerve racking though, we were scared silly we would make a noise and get caught either leaving or returning.
