e.g., like Carrie White in the movie, "Carrie?" I'm just trying to find out where all the anger is coming from because I thought that we as civilized human beings should be respectful of the beliefs of everyone--not just of those who share our own.

Many people say it did not.
They say that Jews made up the whole story about the Holocaust for the rest of the world to pity them and hand them Israel in a plate.
Was this true?

Witness Lee wrote, "Our organic union with the Lord is also in the Spirit. Christ and the Spirit are not two separate persons. They are one person. This is a divine mystery that is beyond human understanding. Christ is the Spirit (1 Cor. 15:45b; 2 Cor. 3:17)." (The Organism of the Triune God in the Organic Union of His Divine Trinity, Anaheim, CA: Living Stream Ministry, 1988, p. 21)

They will say they believe in the Triune God and deny being "Oneness" or Monarchian Modalist. But whether they admit it or not, they are still Oneness by the teachings of Witness Lee. They were successful in deceiving some evangelical people like Hank Hanegraaff and Gretchen Passantino, along with that liberal seminary known as Fuller Theological Seminary. How come there are cult groups like this that promotes double-talk?

I just started smoking a tobacco pipe. I have the packing and tamping techniques down pretty well. I also smoke cigarettes. I was wondering if it was common practice to inhale pipe tobacco smoke.

I wonder what they are screaming about just now? Think they are calling their leader every name under the sun for not telling them about hell? Oh and i can't wait to bump into the cavemen down there. They must have raped and robbed all their miserable lives.

I know a lot of people on here (Christian, and athiests alike) have very strong views, and sometimes when I ask questions on here I get negative replies.

So, honestly, do you believe that you are respectful to other people's religions? And have somewhat of an open mind, while still keeping your religious beliefs?

I myself am Chrsitian, but contrary to popular belief I am not trying to convert athiests into believers! And likewise, I know some athiests who don't try and push their views on Christians.

Or were there five independent people all independently angry about atheists enjoying life?

The Bible is right when it says about God: “His invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable.” (Romans 1:20) Even though we cannot see God, our belief in his existence is no mere superstition. Daily, we deal with many things we cannot see, such as wind, electricity, magnetism, and the force of gravity. We know that they exist because we can observe the effects they produce. Similarly, the intricate design and the superb order in the universe distinctly testify to the existence of a grand creator.

All of you are lucky enough to have internet access, so I'm assuming you aren't starving or anything. I assume your basic needs are met.

So have you ever asked god to take away the blessings that he gives you and give them to, say, a child who is being abused by his parents? Or a starving mother in a third world country?

I know the bible says that god can provide infinite blessings, but his track record clearly shows that he chooses who to bless and who not to. So have you ever thought about asking god to quit blessing you and start blessing someone who is in more need than you are?

Jeffrey Dahmer repented, so have plenty of murderers. They'll be sitting across the table from you at the heavenly "all you can eat" buffet".

I on the other hand will be roommates with Gandhi and the Dali Lama in Hell. We're planning a party, lots of beer, lots of drunken philosophy and good times. Since most every Japanese person is going to Hell because they're Buddhist, I guess we'll be eating tons of the best sushi too!

Anyone want to come?

Yesterday i asked a sarcastic trolling question, pretending to be a christian argueing that Old Testament slavery is not a biblical difficulty.

Basically my argument was that the slavery that the jews practiced in the OT times was different than the slavery that was practiced in the american south in it's prime, so therefore it wasn't nearly as much of issue that skeptics try to make it.

The question:

Now, while i'm not sure if i am suprised that none of the answerers realized that it was a trolling question, I certainly am suprised that out of the 18 or so answerers, none were christians correcting my silly point.
