If you do good Allah guides you he shows you the way to go and when you do some sin you feel guilty. The one who do not feel guilty they have already lost the way so Allah will not guide them any more. Allah said: "They can't see, they can hear and we have put seal on their heart". Allah guides whom he pleases. If you have guilt committing a sin then you are being guided by Allah. That is his way of showing you the right way.
Note for zhao rong augustinus getting in your head the 9/11 was not planned by Muslim it was planned by America if you would like just check there is documentary film about this not done by a Muslim but by a American Senator I think that will help you to realize how good President Bush is. Why are you pointing at Muslim only what about Oklahoma where the bombers where Christians. It's easy to point at other people. It's nothing to do with Islam or Christianity it's about the rights of Islam or Christianity. I condemn also suicide bombing but do not blame something what hasn't been done by Muslims. First of all it's all jealousy because Islam is spreading trough out the world it is the fastest growing religion. Afraid of that? The answer is just yes.

i don't know man it a mystery i think people who are usually good Muslims do something bad b/c the know Allah is watching them so they feel bad about doing something haram and they start to think about it all the time and people who are sinful are use to the fact that they might go to hell so they stop caring but seriously that is a good question and hopefully you think my answer is good too lol:-))))))))

Maybe you should ask that of some Al-Queada members.
[its like we're completely in another world]

thanks for pointing that out. I have nonmuslims friends and when i compare my life to theirs, its like we're completely in another world. Things like "drinking," "premarital sex," and "partying all night" are a normal part of their lives. i fi did any of those things even once in my life, i would never forgive myself.
