The Bible is right when it says about God: “His invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable.” (Romans 1:20) Even though we cannot see God, our belief in his existence is no mere superstition. Daily, we deal with many things we cannot see, such as wind, electricity, magnetism, and the force of gravity. We know that they exist because we can observe the effects they produce. Similarly, the intricate design and the superb order in the universe distinctly testify to the existence of a grand creator.

Lets do some criticism:

1. "His invisible qualities are clearly seen from world's creation onward..."

invisible != "clearly seen", so is it invisible, or is it clearly seen - maybe if I turn my head a little I'll see it... nope, still can't see the clearly seen invisibleness...

2. "... because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship..."

So are this deities eternal power and "Godship" some of the "made" things? Yet more lack of clarity.

Pretty much all the things that the author(s) was/were thinking about as being "made" now have pretty good explanations which don't require recourse to magical deities. Things that we don't yet have good explanations for are pretty far out there - and it's a ridiculous fallacy to think that because science can't yet explain something that it automatically proves that a god or gods exist.

3. "...so that they are inexcusable."

The logically consistency and deliberate vagueness of the paragraph is what's inexcusable.

Sheesh, more meaningless drivel. The fact that you have to launch into another couple of strange and illogical paragraphs to explain what you think the section implies illustrates the vagueness of the logic and terminology rife in religious literature.

And that bit about "belief in his existence is no mere superstition". I very strongly beg to differ!

For the rest of my criticism, I refer you to the very good answer by Rfitqc_Aussie.

Uh-huh. Well, not quite.

Who told you we couldn't see those things? Pressure sensors detect wind and gravity. An ammeter detects electricity. A loop of wire hooked up to a capacitor can detect magnetism, but for all these things, nothing can detect god.

In fact, the whole "can't detect god through any means" sort of means that it takes a leap of faith to believe such a thing.

For what it is worth, we find order all the time. An ice crsytal forms because it is thermodynamically favourable, not because of 'god'. And other forms of order come about in much the same way.

So really, you've got no reason to conclude that there is a god from finding order.

blah blah blah blah

You know what? There's a difference.... you can measure electricity, you can measure gravity, you can't measure any god. Your bible was written by mankind. Even the religions admit it was 'inspired', not written, by god. That means it was written by people. And here's a shocker... people are liars, people are manipulators, people are out for themselves. Its genetic. Its all about survival of the fittest.

Your god does not exist so spouting off something this stupid is totally worthless to anyone but YOU.

Electricity is a scientific theory. So you must believe in evolution, too. Gravity is a scientific law (now on the macro side only). So you must also believe in the law of averages. The law of averages says there is no god.

electricity can be measured and utilized scientifically gravity likewise . God cannot. never has been never will be .
Superstitious beliefs are not difficult to categorize and this is where your lack of touch with reality fails.Gravity and radiation are recognizable facts which are measured and utilized by science but if one hasn't the education or inteligence to realize this it is futile to try and tell them .

5 different people from 5 different backgrounds can flip a light switch and all will see the effects of electricity exactly the same way. The same people can drop a coin and all 5 will experience the same effects of gravity.

If you take 5 different people from 5 different backgrounds and you ask them about their experience with god, you're very likely to get 5 different answers.

If god is as real as electricity and gravity, why doesn't everyone experience him the same way?

Gravity and electricity affect things around them, they are tangible. Science can measure them, but God cannot be measured.

The problem is, I see no proof of God existing, so stop trying to push your beliefs onto others. And stop using things like WatchTower as a source of information, they are a biased source.

I am not arguing for or against the existence of God. Personally, I believe in God.

However, you need to understand some basic concepts about science.

Gravity and electricity can be subjected to the scientific method. (look it up if you don't know what that is)

God cannot be subjected to the scientific method.

You argument is flawed.

No, I don't BELIEVE in any of them.

Electricity and gravity I have evidence for. There is none for any god. Please don't try using logic when you clearly don't understand it, you just look ignorant.
