No.. most people who say they believe in god are so far from nature it's not even funny.. If more people looked to nature as an example to set their lives by this world would be better a place... Full of wonder and mystery, Nature should guide us all... it's where we came from, it's where we had our beginnings. When people look to god/s they are denying we came from nature, they want to believe we came from something more "human" and less chaotic, random and unplanned than the wild womb of nature.. Have you never noticed how anti nature religious people can be? they think we are above it all, they classify human life as the best and the "chosen" kind over all... No, few people who look to nature call it a god, or associate it with such deity.. Nature just is, and will always be the real creator of not only mankind but all life on this planet.. People can call it what they want, god, chaos, big bang, evolution... whatever the fact is with or without intelligent guidance nature and the natural world brought all life forth on this planet.

I believe in God, only I spell it Nature.. Frank Lloyd Wright.

Depend, in some culture, they can't understand the difference or simply don't know it, so for them nature is God and it is not wrong, as we can see God in Nature.
For the follow more knowledge people, God is the Omnipresent, Omniscient, Formless Supreme Spirit.
When there is more knowledge, we can see God as Paramatman , located in our heart and in all the others being heart.
and when there is more realisation a fortunated person will see God face to face, His personality.

Close but not totally. What we call nature is the creation. GOD in nature would be the life force that animates all living things. It is the the light that is there and when it is removed the rest dies and decays back into the earth.
