If "marriage" as a term were removed, but all national and international rights of marriage were granted to same-sex couples who had undergone a civil union, would you oppose such legislation? Why or why not?

10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage is Wrong:

-Being gay is NOT natural. Christians reject unnatural things like glasses, polyester, and air conditioning. Cutting your grass should also be illegal.

-Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, just like hanging around tall people will make you tall.

-Gay marriage will change the foundation of society. We can't adapt. Just like we haven't adapted to cars or computers.

-Straight marriage has been around a long time & hasn't changed at all. Similarly, women still can't vote, blacks still can't marry whites, & divorce is still illegal.

-Straight marriage would be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears' 55-hour marriage would be destroyed; Heterosexual couples wouldn't love each other as much anymore.

-Straight marriages are valid because they are able to produce children, unlike gays. Similarly, infertile and elderly couples shouldn't be allowed to marry either.

when i go to cemetaries and i often do as the tombstones make such lovely patterns in black and white photography,,i notice that there are different sections for different sects of christianity,,ie tike, proddy etc and right down the back are the suicides and non believers such as indigenous natives,,why is this so given that you are all so loving and all,,,,to me it appears that even in death you continue your hate for one another,,that you never forgive

Frogs Legs
Once upon a time, a beautiful, independent, self assured princess happened upon a frog in a pond. The frog said to the princess, "I was once a handsome prince until an evil witch put a spell on me. One kiss from you and I will turn back into a prince and then we can marry, move into the castle with my mom, and you can prepare my meals, clean my clothes, bear my children and forever feel happy doing so."

That night, while the princess dined on frogs legs, she laughed to herself and thought "I don't *cking think so.

I mean shouldn't there be a sub section for every religion, or at least every main religion? If you go into the Cars section, they have a section for each make of car, so why not here?

And if they did, what do you think of the following?

1) Would there be an atheist section? Would this offend atheist by having a section for them under religion?

2) Would each believer stick to their own section, i.e. Christians in the Christian section, Muslim in the Muslim section, etc.

3) Would the ahteist section be empty?

4) Would you like R&S better or not if it had sections?

I've heard many Christians talk about their love of God and Jesus followed by the love of their country within the same breath, as if they are on the same levels. Is one's love and devotion to their nation of origin part of Christian life? What do you think?
