10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage is Wrong:
-Being gay is NOT natural. Christians reject unnatural things like glasses, polyester, and air conditioning. Cutting your grass should also be illegal.
-Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, just like hanging around tall people will make you tall.
-Gay marriage will change the foundation of society. We can't adapt. Just like we haven't adapted to cars or computers.
-Straight marriage has been around a long time & hasn't changed at all. Similarly, women still can't vote, blacks still can't marry whites, & divorce is still illegal.
-Straight marriage would be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears' 55-hour marriage would be destroyed; Heterosexual couples wouldn't love each other as much anymore.
-Straight marriages are valid because they are able to produce children, unlike gays. Similarly, infertile and elderly couples shouldn't be allowed to marry either.

-Obviously, gay parents will raise gay children, just like straight parents only raise straight children.
-Gay marriage is not supported by religion, & as we all know in America, we have only one religion.
-Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we, as a society, expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
-Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

I don't feel that if gay people were allowed to be married, my marriage and the marriages of other straight people will be less meaningful. In fact, I know without a doubt that it would not make mine less meaningful. It simply just would not affect us.
I don't know whether people are born gay or not, I think it may be a bit of both. But I believe that you can't help who you love, and that gays should be allowed to marry. They deserve to love, too.
Edit: I didn't know you meant this as a satire until after I submitted the answer. Well, now you know how I feel on the subject. lol. I was getting ready to call you a bigotted @ss.

America has been a battleground of ideas from day one..even the founders were split on many issues so I don't see the on-going tug of war as a failure. As someone mentioned here though, the Federal Government has it's nose way too deep in our business! Then there's the FED playing god with their 'magic money'?.... Another thing (and this I do blame on the left) the 'melting pot' is broken. We're becoming many cultures within One Nation.. look at history, that's always a bad sign.... Your qn deserves more of an answer but that's all I got for now.. have a good weekend.

While I don't believe gay marriage is "right," I believe it is A right -- and equal civil rights belong to all citizens, not just the ones we agree with.
Gay marriage will not make anyone gay. What proof can you cite?
Straight marriage HAS changed. What planet do you live on? Women are no longer considered their husband's property (at least not in free societies like the USA), for just one example. And a married couple can now choose to become parents or not, with birth control, for another.
What do you MEAN, women still can't vote?? Maybe not in Saudi Arabia... but I vote in every election.
If my gay neighbors were allowed to be married, it does not at all impact the "meaningfulness" of my own marriage. Britney Spear's 55 hour marriage didn't have any sanctity to begin with...
Your attempt at satire was almost successful, however!

no. i think its ok. its just like saying that gay marriage has been around for a long time, and that straight marriage is wrong. we should all be able to marry, gays and straight. and gays were born gay, so they shouldnt be not able to get married. gays are awesome (including me), so YAY GAYS!!!!

But most important of all -
If we allow Gay Marriage in this country then the next thing you know we will all be gathered around our TV's, in the middle of the day, watching "Gay Divorce Court" !!!
And that will truly be the End of America as we know it !!!

How does a gay marriage affect you? What two consenting adults do is none of your business. There's nothing wrong with it. Leave them alone and let them marry. It hurts no one. Good luck. 2D
I'm straight and happily married to a man. I have no problem with gay marriage.

-If gay marriage was legal, self-righteous conservative politicians and clergy would have no reason to keep their pulse on the vital state of our public restrooms.
