I mean shouldn't there be a sub section for every religion, or at least every main religion? If you go into the Cars section, they have a section for each make of car, so why not here?
And if they did, what do you think of the following?
1) Would there be an atheist section? Would this offend atheist by having a section for them under religion?
2) Would each believer stick to their own section, i.e. Christians in the Christian section, Muslim in the Muslim section, etc.
3) Would the ahteist section be empty?
4) Would you like R&S better or not if it had sections?

R&S is actually a subsection of Society and Culture.
I don't think it needs sections, I personally like just reading the answers of questions I can't answer. If people weren't so petty, some of us could probably actually learn something here and possibly become a bit more open-minded. I know that there is one certain religious group that think the whole section should be theirs (and it's not the Atheists) and theirs alone.
I would hop from section to section, because I know quite a bit about several religions.
I wouldn't like it as much if it had sections.

R&S IS a subsection (of society and culture)
1) don't forget the Spirituality bit, and atheism is to do with religion, isn't it?
2)yeah, right
3)no coz all the religious people ask Qs like Atheist: do you think..../can you explain....
4)couldn't care less really, but i guess subsections mean you have to keep going back up to the top level again and again
help you at all? :-P
note, if you care: not religious. not even atheist.
btw, pixie_pagan: do you think having a section for intelligent answers would actually stop peoople posting stupid Qs there?

I wish there was a section for "Intelligent Questions and Answers" by adults.
It would weed out all the infantile and irrelevant answers you get in here by people to young or uneducated to follow an arguement or make a good one.
Perhaps a preaching section to keep all the people who come here to sermonize in their own forum.

Do you think Politics and Government > Elections needs to be further divided into Presidential, Senate, House of Representatives, and State offices? No, it's narrowed down enough, just as R&S is.

I see. What would you do with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons) or the Jehovah's witnesses? Would you classify them as cults since some people say they' aren't Christian?
Just one example of why that won't work.

No i don't think so, how boring would that be? And to answer your question, not for a second do i think people would stick to their own sections, we thrive on confrontation!!!!

I think R&S should be divided into two subsections: faith and reason... just like humanity is subdivided

It's already enough stupidity without subdividing it any more.

No. I don't think there should be. R & S pretty much sums everything up.
