The (Eastern) Orthodox Church doesn't consider them to be part of "the church", so in that respect, they aren't considered Christians, at least by conservative Eastern Orthodox theologians.

Being a Christian does not mean you are a member of or accept the cannon of the Orthodox Church. It simply means you believe in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. A baptism (in the Orthodox Church) is a sacred ritual where you vow to believe and be spiritually bound by the cannons of that faith. That is why Other Christians are required to be baptized again.

Do you mean re-baptized if coming into the Orthodox Church?

I hadn't heard this and I hope it isn't true.
Catholics accept any Christian baptism that is done in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Re-baptizing just ain't right.

The Orthodox believe on baptism done through the jurisdiction of their Church is valid. That also goes for all their sacraments.

Chris I hate to point out your unbiblical teachings for the Bible teaches.

Mark 16

16 He that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall be condemned.

Perhaps you should question all those biblical scholars you admire so much?

in my church we wont exactly say you are required to be baptised
but its a good idea once your of an age of understanding and
have strongly attempted to live as christ did.

it all comes down to the baby thing or the thief on the cross thing.

i was recently baptised at the age of 42...my only thought after
asking about it and studying it was that i should do what Christ
did even if i dont now all the reasons why.

You are not Baptized, unless you are baptized by full submersion in troubled, flowing, snow water, that empties into to sea or ocean, a river which carries away your sins.

The Protestant and catholic sprinkle you with water. The Catholics follow Jewish laws and traditions of circumcision, incense burning, and ritual masses, including not giving you the true bread from heaven, (the Word of God as spoken by Jesus, Jesus said I am the bread, the Words I speak unto you make you clean, and the truth shall make you free.

Eat my flesh, means to hear the Words spoke by Jesus. for the Word of God was made flesh.
Drink my blood means to believe in all the Words Jesus spoke or in the works He performed, to believe in the Gospel, This is our new covenant, it is made by shedding His blood for us. It is not the ritual of communion, eating bread and drinking wine, it is hearing and believing the Words Jesus spoke, this is the true bread.

Chris is an idiot who apparently has his head to far up his butt to learn anything.

Catholics own Christ. Or rather Christ founded the catholics.

They are his people following his traditions. Have they made some dumb move? yes. However

Every religion (when your talking about Christianity) thinks is the only right way so other baptisims are "sinful" and"against god" and whatever other scare tactic they want to use to make you be baptised in there church and by there version of the bible (there are 31 or so different versions of the bible. and very many differences)

Because of the original sin. According to christians anyone not baptized is going to hell. That means aborted babies and stillborn babies are going to hell. The pope recently released a statement about it.

Baptism is not required for salvation.

Catholics are not saved and are not Christians. Catholics believe a false gospel of works that leads to eternal hell (Galatians 1).

Bible teachers that said the Vatican and the catholic cult are an antichrist: John Bunyan, John Huss, John Wycliffe, John Calvin, William Tyndale, John Knox, Thomas Bacon, John Wesley, Charles Spurgeon, Samuel Cooper, John Cotton, and Jonathan Edwards
